“Gone And Forgotten” is the final track of Onyx Colony’s signature album, “The Encrypt”, and the last normal track of Onyx Colony’s 2020 re-release album, “Borderlines: The Lost Relics”.
The song itself explains how a person finally rises through the darkness of the Encrypt and finds light through the world ahead, but is known to the world to be forgotten and gone, as the story of the Encrypt cannot be explained to the point of people believing it.

Everyone has their own hurt. But I believe that what we go through does not make us who we are, but how we choose to go through it; that is what defines us. In writing this album, I've learned that coping, accepting, and giving up only push you further down the hole. It's the will to face your fears head on; that is what keeps us moving through any pain.
