We are a group of 1 female, 3 male members, formed during the first lockdown in spring 2020, due to missing alternatives, style somewhere between (alternative, Pop-) Rock, Hard Rock and different styles of Metal.

Formed in 2011 out of the bohemian district of Kallio in Helsinki, Finland. Daggerplay began creating their punk, rock´n´roll style that also has influences with late seventies powerpop. With lyrics based on own experiences quite dark at times about growing up in a small town in Finland and the crazy years living London, but at the same time not forgetting the hope and humour of it all.

As part of the Kallio indie music scene they would in 2013 release their debut album, Urban Campfire Songs, and start to actively play shows in their home area and throughout the greater Helsinki region, even rocking the occasional acoustic set to many delighted fans.
In the Fall of 2018 Daggerplay would release their second album, Subterranean Reality, concreting their name in the scene while receiving positive reviews from music websites around the world.

For Daggerplay, it’s all about the songs. Delivering musical hooks and deft arrangements that provide the right touch and attitude supporting each song. There is clearly no doubt that Daggerplay is not afraid to explore across multiple genres of rock music including blues and folk.

Each member in Daggerplay has a long musical background playing and recording with various bands and touring in Europe and America.
The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Pekko Mantzin, guitarist and vocalist Tommi Luostarinen, bassist and backing vocalist Bryan Ugartechea, and drummer Sirpa Immonen.

The new single and video, Eastbound Subway Train, will be released in March 2021.

Those veteran Punk Rockers from
    Bielefeld/Germany have recently 
    started to discover the blues.
    Now they tend to mix riff rock
    from the Stones to the Stooges
    with the Blues roots of old 
    Mississippi masters like Howlin'
    Wolf,  and they play their songs
    with the raw energy of young
    ´77 era Punks - hey, call that
    "Stones-induced Punk Rock"
    if you like!

    The Band started in 1999 as a
    studio/solo project of
    ex-Notdurft/ClubX/Mindover Board
    guitar slinger Bernd Hövelmeyer.
    Between 1999 and 2003, he recorded
    three full length albums (almost) by
    himself, all of them released via
    Neat Neat Records. In 2003, Bernd 
    felt the desire to perform his songs
    live on stage, and so he formed the
    Band “The Nymphomaniacs”, together
    with some friends and ex-bandmates: 
Bielefelder Punks entdecken den Blues!

Sie vermengen den Riffrock der
Stones oder der Stooges mit dem
Blues eines Howlin' Wolf oder eines
Robert Johnson und spielen das
Ganze dann mit der Power einer
Punkrockband. Kombiniert mit
eigenen Ideen hört sich dieses
extrem schmutzig an.

Kurzum: Gnadenloser Garagensound!

Gestartet wurde die Band 1999
als reines Studio- und Soloprojekt
des Ex-Notdurft/Mind Over Board
Gitarristen Bernd Hövelmeyer.

Nach drei, fast im Alleingang
eingespielten Alben, entschied sich
Bernd aus diesem reinen Studioprojekt
eine Liveband entstehen zu lassen.
Verstärkung holte er sich durch
Bernd Johnigk
(drums/Voc),
Gunnar Gliech
(Bass/Voc/Harp)
und
Andreas Hancock
(Guitar/Voc).
Alles Musiker mit jahrelanger
Band- und Bühnenerfahrung.

Eine Band die auf
der Bühne vollkommen überzeugt!
Unter anderem auch mit Coversongs
der Stones, Dead Boys und Stooges.

The Uschi Obermaier Experience
Bielefelds älteste Garagenrockband THE USCHI OBERMAIER EXPERIENCE; hervorgegangen aus den Bands NOTDURFT und THE NYMPHOMANIACS, spielte zwischen 2007 - 2019 ihren rohen und dreckigen Sound auf den Bühnen,  die die Welt bedeuten. Viel Punk-Appeal mischt sich mit klassischem Rock'n'Roll, kurz: Songs, die kratzen, spucken und beißen und ein Sound, der Dreck unter den Fingernägeln hat. Im August 2018 veröffentlichten die "Uschis" ihr mittlerweile drittes Album "Trouble" beim Salzufler Plattenlabel Dedication Records. Es lohnt sich, diese Trouble-Shooter live zu erleben.

The USCHI OBERMAIER EXPERIENCE is a real tight live band from Germany/Bielefeld who love to play their songs with a real heartfelt passion and a raw "punk-attitude" .
The Band started in 2002 as a fun/side-project of "The Nymphomaniacs" bass player Gunnar Gliech. Until 2009 he played a few Gigs round Bielefeld with different musicians and friends, just to having a good time while playing the music of the bands they loved...

In August 2018 they released their third LP "Trouble" (produced by Ulbricht), with twelve cool songs.

From blues to punk-rock, or - now and then - some fine pop-melodies ... a little pit-stop at the honky-tonk-bar and back to Rock`n Roll again...
You can hear a lot of influences...like The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop or the Faces.
Garage, Vintage, Retro whatever...maybe something in between !?
