In The Air Tonight (remix Tupac & Phil Collins)

 jɛloʊ (jelou) is the color of gold, butter, or ripe lemons. In the spectrum of visible light, and in the traditional color wheel used by painters, yellow is located between green and orange.

For many years „jelou“ has been active in the Hamburg music scene as a part of the collective „Rotzige Beatz“ and the tech house duo "kopfthema". He gets inspiration for songs mainly in every day life when he listens analytically to his environment.

Here we see jelou deliver his first solo material via the recently launched URS imprint.

First up on the single is „Bloody Dancefloor“, a tripped-out, stripped back number fuelled by sparse percussive lines, hooky vocal lines and raw acidic bass. jelou plays on subtle variation throughout the composition, creating a vacillating dynamic over its six and a half minutes, while atmospherics pads and the tweaking bass tones instill some musicality. 
Then to close the single jelou turns in „Protein Pills“, a perfect contrast to the original as the German producer takes a more refined approach with the percussion, while bringing glitchy delays, dubby chords and low-pitched, heavily processed vocal snippets to the forefront to create a dark and brooding early hours cut.

Born and raised in limited-travel zone of West Berlin, Madmotormiquel always had music and collecting records on his mind from an early age.After the Berlin Wall was well and truly down his home city was filled with more space than the ravers knew how to sing and dance about, this is when the name Madmotormiquel became synonymous with everything the Berlin house music parade has been known for since.

‘Cool Trainer’ sees him join up with the Klassified family, his colourful side is enlightened, a true peacock is born.

‘Cool Trainer’ kicks things off with tension-building notes throughout that harmonise with rolling percussion and a tranquilising sax alluring you in gracefully before Iorie, a multi-instrumentalist, live act and producer from Germany delivers a meditative remix of ‘Cool Trainer’ fusing zapping synths that whirl underneath the warm organic drums and eccentric vocals.

The Egyptian producer Fulltone provides a hypnotising interpretation of ‘Cool Trainer’ as the cosmic waves balance delicately with acid-tinged modulations until ‘Palermo Poodle’ rounds things off with gentle progressive melodies, vibrant percussive hits and euphoric oscillations to create an exquisite atmosphere to finish.
