There's no need to say how much we love everything that comes from Asia, that endless source of DJs and producers that consistently astounds us here at MM Discos, this time, it's the young Japanese talent Daichi who takes control of the ship.

To trace Daichi's roots, we must travel to Enoshima, where he began cultivating a passion for DJing and collecting records from a very young age. Working as a teenager at the legendary club Oppa-La exposed him to some of the world's best DJs, opening doors to a myriad of influences and new sounds that young Daichi eagerly added to his arsenal.

Fresh from his recent release here at MM Discos and forthcoming at the "mighty" Crue-L Records, Daichi is also one of the founders of the Tokyo-based collective "Vinyl Youth," stirring up the nights of the Japanese capital for quite some time now.

We are delighted to introduce the man who will be the star this summer here at MM Discos and one of the best young talents from Tokyo's inexhaustible factory of DJs.

Daichi, a digger and DJ, born and raised in Enoshima, felt a passion for music, DJing, and collecting records from a very young age. He has left his personal mark on legendary clubs in Japan and Korea, such as Rainbow Disco Club and Oppa-La, where he is said to have been the youngest DJ to perform, delivering a memorable 7-hour set at under 20 years old.

Daichi lands at MM Discos with a collection of 6 edits that bring us heat and a strong desire to hit the dance floor, sure to make a mark at upcoming festivals.

In this first volume, Daichi presents "See of Cosmic" and "Dampness", navigating between house, trance, and the most cosmic sounds delivering 2 totally unclassifiable and highly danceable tracks, pure fire for your legs.

"From a young age, Daichi was immersed in a variety of music genres while working at Oppa-La in Enoshima. This exposure led him to pursue a career as a DJ. He went on to form the party and DJ collective "Vinyl Youth," which gained significant attention with tours in Korea and a standout performance at the Rainbow Disco Club in 2022. 

In the realm of music production, Daichi released a trilogy of edits with the Berlin and Barcelona-based label "MM Discos." In 2024, he collaborated with Yamarchy to release a 12-inch record on Japan’s prestigious label "Crue-L." His varied activities continue to infuse new energy into both domestic and international music scenes."
