Using all the genres in a kaleidoscope of conception. To tell the stories of his own struggles from start to finish. An artist that believes in the conception album, in the same vain as The Beatles -Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band or even Pink Floyd's - The Wall. Daily believes in interconnected stories in which the listener visualizes what they hear, in a theatrical experience from start to finish. 

There are the Hip Hop, Rap and Club Jams you'd expect to hear from a Hip Hop artist, but all with Daily's own unique spin and vision which he brings to each song. Daily isn't trying to be the next Jay Z, 2 Chainz or Tupac. Daily is trying to be Daily, an independent artist that produces concept albums in which the listener is encouraged to visualize the music and interpret it into their own stories based around the life of Daily.

Nick Elia has been a fixture of London’s underground club scene since the mid-2000s. From gritty warehouse raves in Hackney to iconic venues like Egg, Lightbox, Pacha, Area, and Crucifix Lane, Nick’s raw techno beats have resonated with the souls of those who seek the pulse of the night. His journey extends beyond the UK, with multiple seasons spent in Ibiza, countless gigs in Prague, and tours that have left their mark on dancefloors worldwide.

In the studio, Nick embraces a purist approach, channeling his passion through analog and hardware gear to craft every beat with a sincere intensity and a balanced texture of hypnotism, energy, and playfulness. Over the years, his productions have earned support from the techno elite, appeared in international compilations, and received airplay on renowned platforms. Most notably, his record ‘Glue’ was featured on BBC Radio 1, with DJ Hannah Wants saying, “This is one of my favorite tracks out at the moment... it’s absolutely going off.” 

His dedicated studio work led him to become a sound designer and an official Roland Artist, working with the company on both live performance and studio gear. Most notably, he designed patches for the now-iconic Roland TR-8S.

CKUW is the on-campus FM radio station at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada.

We broadcast at 95.9 MHz with 450 watts of power. Our transmitter and antenna are on top of #7 Evergreen Place in Osborne Village. The station operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with all the programming being done by volunteers.

Since the early 60′s CKUW has offered students and the community a unique chance to express ideas and be introduced to music heard nowhere else in Winnipeg. CKUW programmers have an outspoken passion for music and information.

We strive to represent all genres of music with an attempt to focus on the vibrant local scene, as well as music from across Canada and around the world.
