Meowsn is a house producer who takes his name from picture meme GTO anime. M’ sound is sort of difficult to describe, as you’d except from something brimming with originality. It’s very much a fusion of hip-hop and house, focused heavily on wild samples, hard scattered drums.

A talent like this does not deserve to go unnoticed, this wonder producer needs to be reaching more ears.

Scruscru and Mike Fot return for Vol.2 of their late night smokey jam sessions.

Opening the release is ‘k60k’, fusing skippy garage beats, squelchy acid licks, oscillating keys and cut up vocals. ‘Enjoint’ then retrains a similar aesthetic via a shuffled garage-tinged rhythm, amalgamation of chopped and pitched vocals snippets and bumpy bass groove alongside warbling chord sequences for a bouncy feel.

‘Hummus Dealer’ follows next on the flip and shifts focus to swinging breakbeats, bubbling synths and hazy brass samples throughout. ‘Bro’ccoli Lasagna’ then rounds out the release, dropping the tempo to deliver an ethereal slice of downtempo goodness featuring off-kilter drums, snaking resonant synths and airy textures.
