Nocturnal Cavern Episode #1

Day 1 CHNR Beyond Live On Houswerx W/ Anthony Perez

Inspired by a hike around the rain forest in Puerto Rico, I sampled the rain, as well as the Coqui Frogs, and included them in the track.

The percussion is all created from those samples (lightning was not from PR, I cheated). 

This was a fun exercise in creating sounds from scratch, and using the tools available to me.

I really hope you enjoy this one.

Nocturne Bio:

Born & Raised in Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ Career in 2007 and was known throughout Southern California as DJ Turiz playing Reggaeton/Hip Hop, and Latin music. Turiz began to DJ at nightclubs in San Diego, Los Angeles  area in the late 2000’s. In 2013 DJ Turiz began mixing Electronic Music on FM Radio under the name Digital Audio Kingz, a DJ duo created with DJ MORE). In 2018 DJ Turiz created the name Nocturne and the mixshow Cali’s HouseNation Radio; a weekly House & Dance Music Mixshow available as a podcast and re-broadcasted worldwide across radio stations around the world as part of the CHNR Syndication Network. Currently based out of San Diego, CA with offices in Los Angeles, CA. 

Nocturne began to expand his deeper musical taste by creating a series titled ‘On the Deep End’ dedicated to everything Deep, Progressive and Melodic House and Techno and ‘Deep House Sessions’ dedicated to Deep house.  All musical content can be found at www.dakmusic.net
