Last month, the Grand Rapids SmartZone attended South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, representing Michigan at Midwest House.

Several Grand Rapids-based entrepreneurs and innovators attended with their startups, all under the Grand Rapids SmartZone banner.

At the event, founders were able to network and connect with investors.

The Grand Rapids SmartZone provides a wide range of services to companies, including access to funding, networking opportunities, incubation space and more.

His music has been featured on SiriusXM and last year two of his songs were featured in the movie “Sid is Dead.”  Along the way he has also not only been reviewed by Huff Post, but, his on-stage journey includes performances in England, Denmark, across the U.S., and, sharing a bill with acts ranging from Wang Chung to Nelly to Beatles offspring James McCartney, and more.  He is also a two-time finalist in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

This re-creation of a 1970s late night talk show, the fictional "Night Owls" with Jack Delroy, depicts one night of the show gone horribly wrong, as the broadcast becomes infiltrated by an evil force. Desperate to rise to the top of the ratings, Delroy pulls out all the stops for his 1977 Halloween special, bringing on a colorful panel of guests culminating with a psychologist and her patient. Each round of guests successively leads the show down the road toward a hellish outcome, providing a spectacle that confirms the old adage for Delroy: Careful what you wish for.
