In the past editions, this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. Yiannis S. aka Tromo born and raised in Athens has shown great interest in music and music production from a very young age. He studied guitar and synthesizer and after experimenting with various rock and metal bands, he eventually was convinced that music is his calling. Around 1997, he discovered the magic in electronic sounds and psytrance music by going to parties and festivals around Greece and Europe. Influenced by the psychedelic trance scene, in 2007 he created the Tromo project and released his first track on Mighty Quinn Records. In 2011 he joined Sonic Loom Music and continued experimenting with his unique sound and atmosphere. In the process of creating and exploring, two side projects were born “Quadraphonic” with Antonymous and “OhmInside” with Drury Nevil. Yiannis released tracks on Sonic Loom and other well-known labels and performs in many events around the world. Presently he is in full productive & creative mode and upon releasing his debut album concentrates on his solo and side projects.

Here is a part of the set i recorded while playing in Chengdu, China November 2019. A stunning country which is rich in myth and mystery with a young urban generation which is opening up and interacting with the world. What to say, the dragon is slowly awakening and there is a nice and growing scene appearing on the map! Great people and pure proper Underground vibes. Big thanks to Fugui, Dong Fang, Yaolic and Buzz for setting up this tour and regards to all the great people i got to meet during my stay.

From its origins as totems the Chinese dragon (Long) evolved to become a important mythical animal in folklore and mythology  all over East Asia.
Chinese dragons have many animal but the most popular one is the  snake-like avatar with four legs. They traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, typhoons, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck for people who are worthy of it in East Asian culture.

Jumpstreet is the young Psytrance Project of Raffael Willi from Lucerne Switzerland. Making all kinds of music since a child and playing different instruments he was always in the need to make his own compositions. In electronic music and especially psychedelic trance he found the best place to implement all ideas. Started in summer of 2013 this project has been constantly evolving. Clean driving basslines mixed with psychedelic soundscapes, fat leads and most importantly a groove that will fill u with energy are the basis of the Jumpstreet sound. Arranged in clever songwriting makes for a very dancefloor oriented sound. Playing live sets at many events in switzerland, Jumpstreet is now exploring new territories abroad.

Daksinamurti is a Psytrance artist, producer, DJ and ethnologist from Marburg, Germany. Till is the founder and label-manager of Sangoma Records, which he and his friend Emiel curated in 2011 to share their musical vision, love and passion for authentic trance-inducing music in over 150 releases. The independent label soon developed into one of the icons in it’s genre – pushing the boundaries, releasing high quality music and art and having label artists performing at events worldwide, while still being close to it’s roots. 

As an artist Daksinamurti has become an integral part of the circuit, performing his DJ and live sets in over 50 countries at events and festivals such as Boom, Ozora, Modem, Universo Paralello, Fusion Festival and others. 
Since discovering Goatrance in the jungles and on the beaches of India end of the 1990’s, Till developed a insatiable thirst for studying culture and it’s mysteries as an anthropologist, while experimenting and understanding the effects, benefits, healing abilities and power of music on the body and mind. 

After almost 20 years of DJing the urge to dive deeper into the music and extend knowledge were the main motivations to start producing and composing tracks in 2018. The result was his debut album “The Dawn of Another Meaning” on Sangoma Records in 2022.
Together with N3xu5 from Portugal Daksinamurti formed the side project “Archetypes” who released their self-titled album on Sangoma in 2024.

Musical storytelling, his love for diversity combined with technical sophistication has become part of his associated artistic characteristics. Till enjoys playing intuitive extended sets far from predictability and stereotypes in order to skillfully create a colorful but driving journey. His sound covers a wide spectrum ranging from light to night - from meditative deepness, joyful moments in the groove of the here & now, to euphoria and beyond.
