Dale Reince produces music as a solo artist under monikers such as Dalephonic, Thirty Thousand, Spirit Animal, or just Dale Reince.

In 2021, Dale started collaborating with Rome Jones to create music. In 2023, they named their project the 3levaters, or simply 3levaters.

Dale has been involved in numerous musical projects over the years in Milwaukee. Starting in the mid-'90s, Dale formed his first band, Acorn Worm, with his sister Andrea Hetzel (drums) and childhood friend Robert Williamson (bass guitar). Acorn Worm consisted of all-original material written and arranged by all members in the group. Dale played electric guitar and sang lead vocals, while Andrea and Robert sang backup vocals.

Between 2000 and 2004, Dale's passion for playing bass guitar led to contributing work in various bands, including Chocolate Fantasy Girls, Pedestrian, Inevitable End, and The Dandy Lions.

Maybe best known for the band Clementine, Dale formed that project in 2004 with his wife Cathy (Cat) Reince and friends; Alex Boyes, James Dahmann, Brad Nault, and Matt Schmeling. Dale served as the primary songwriter, played electric guitar, and sang lead vocals. Despite never having released a proper album, Clementine found a nice local following in the Milwaukee music scene, which also spilled over to Chicago. The band made its rounds through the Milwaukee music scene, radio stations, and the local press on mostly demo recordings.

In 2013, again joining forces with his wife, Cat, and friend Alex Boyes (Clementine, Inevitable End), they formed the group Ghostnotes along with Alex's wife Laura Spencer. Ghostnotes' material includes stripped-down versions of Clementine songs but also includes original material as well.

Currently in 2025 3levaters are wrapping up production on their first LP, with an anticipated release between late summer and early fall.
