[Our Own Way]

Me and Hendry have actually finished 80% of this project from around January/February 2020. But at the time, we (mostly me lol) decided to hold off on releasing due to perfectionist nature, particularly in wanting the mixing and mastering to be top notch. Was thinking of making a Spotify as well.

However, as time went on, we realized that our work in music is first and foremost a therapeutic journey, not to make a living. Hence, we can’t maximize our time and effort as much to just one project.

Overall, I think this song is still relevant, even to our journey towards releasing this song in public. Often in life, each and every one of us become overwhelmed to conform to public standards of perfection. And I think, delaying this release is a reflection of that; for us to be able to release music properly like other artists out there.

But in the end, we understand of our capabilities and limitations. We do love music. But when life gives you lemons, you make the greatest lemonade possible.

Whatever people say, give it your best effort.  Have faith your time will come.
