What I Like: 
Claire and her writing for this was amazing, she did the piano and vocals really well, despite very few takes.
I experimented a lot of ideas with adding echoes, and meshing bass, rain, and trying to fit into a theme of "haunting", which i hope came across

Constructive:
Its complicated: I like the harmonies, but its unclear sometimes when is it too much or if its necessary. Which brings an interesting dilemma: what is "necessary"? How much is over editing?
My regret is not having a better copy of her acoustic version.
Interestingly, there are parts where her voice sounded thin which is definitely something to look at in the future.

I wrote this in around 8 hours for my grandmother's memorial service, which surprised me how well I think it sounded 

What I Like:
I very much adore the very basic harmonies for the chorus, followed by  (what i think) a tasteful cello and violin combination for the 2nd verse and ending 

Constructive:
I think the 1st verse sounded appropriate in this case, but generally i need learn to better input and edit the overall sound for violins 

The ending could definitely be expanded upon or resolved in a different way.

Me and Hendry have actually finished 80% of this project from around January/February 2020. But at the time, we (mostly me lol) decided to hold off on releasing due to perfectionist nature, particularly in wanting the mixing and mastering to be top notch. Was thinking of making a Spotify as well.

However, as time went on, we realized that our work in music is first and foremost a therapeutic journey, not to make a living. Hence, we can’t maximize our time and effort as much to just one project.

Overall, I think this song is still relevant, even to our journey towards releasing this song in public. Often in life, each and every one of us become overwhelmed to conform to public standards of perfection. And I think, delaying this release is a reflection of that; for us to be able to release music properly like other artists out there.

But in the end, we understand of our capabilities and limitations. We do love music. But when life gives you lemons, you make the greatest lemonade possible.

Whatever people say, give it your best effort.  Have faith your time will come.
