I am Palestinian

A song for Palestinian's and their culture. Apparently Palestinian people have become extraordinary skilful at retaining there own culture and record through memory and word of mouth. This seems to be born from necessity and due to the systematic destruction of their physical records or attempts to make those.

The other main theme of the song is the recognition of them and everyone else as equal. I still get very disillusioned how one group of people can suffer like the Palestinians do and just get indifference from a majority just because they live across the other side of some imaginary line some humans drew on land...

I'm trying to be less prejudice with this one although it's difficult when you research this part of the world properly to not take their side... Add the below relevant links for the song to some thoughtful truthful news sources and it's pretty sick whats going on.  You cannot understand it properly if you switch off after you hear 'Oct 7th' and justify  the opportunistic destruction and murdering thats actually happening now... I just want them to have what you and I have reading and writing on this website! The majority of Isrealis have that freedom too so I still feel in these moments it's Palestine that needs those extra voices of support...

Imagine you were tied up in a busy park... Someone was kicking the shit out of you and theres an impenetrable glass wall all around. Outside are people glancing in and walking on doing nothing. Now imagine the same scenario where the people through the glass are calling your name and telling you they love you and be strong and putting pressure on the attacker... Maybe they cant break the glass but I think it would give you a little more extra strength then scenario one... We can at least do something through the glass

Right now the majority don't even glance through the glass partly through ignorance but also because its very painful to see what's through there... But that shouldn't be an excuse if we want to evolve
