Lil Pat AKA Tha Hook King was born on April 20, 1991, in Urbana, Illinois. At 18 months old, he and his family relocated to Arlington, Texas, where he was raised. His passion for music began at age 6 with piano lessons and recitals. At 12, his cousin Koomlaude introduced him to rapping and taught him basic recording techniques using a computer and inexpensive microphone. Lil Pat showed natural talent, quickly composing his own songs. During this time, he also sang in the school choir, blending his love for singing and rapping, which became his signature sound.

Lil Pat has performed at various venues and opened for artists such as Chingo Bling, Lil' Rob, Hurricane Chris, Chalie Boy, Dorrough, Billy Cook, The Bangz, and more. His sophomore independent album, "Never Look Back," was released on November 20, 2012, receiving positive reviews. Lil Pat visits schools and community events focused on youth, promoting rap music free of profanity and negative themes.

Through his music, Lil Pat showcases a rich vocabulary and poignant storytelling, drawing from his personal experiences and strong family dedication. Despite being diagnosed with Leukemia in 2009, he maintains a positive outlook on his musical future. As a Rapper/Singer/Producer, he vows to always chase his dreams.
