After a brief break period in TheGrid mix series we bring you a special 2 hour set from Non-Temporal head honcho Jeku.

Jeku, who also lived in Berlin and sought inspiration there, is now known as part of the Helsinki-based Local Deep collective. His eclectic DJ sets bring us the sounds of House, off grid 303's and classics. Jeku's production's have been released with the Turku-based Mood of the Era label, with a release on his own Non-Temporal records  (Radical Error EP) finding its way onto Jane Fitz Juno recommendations and for good reasons.

This weeks episode also containt emotional content, it also looks like that deep and dubby house sound that emerged from the US in the early 90's has now started to resurface but with a definite UK twist. The man like Adam Pits morphing sounds and genres with ease and pushing things forwards nicely with his new one on XKALAY. Jonno & Tommo from the Ornate stable choosing to incorporate more of the aforementioned sound into their forthcoming release and then as if that wasn't enough they rope in 2 of the finest in Brawther & Andres for the remixes, pure heat!  
 The Australian connection runs deep, Timo Deeprhythms and cohort Steffan who co run Coymix Ltd and Timo's Echocentric dropping bombs from both labels in this show.  Depth & Weight's head honcho delves into the psyche and brigs us a spoken word masterpiece that informs us about the magical properties of the mushroom, gwarn Leee!
  Bufo Bufo has a hand in a couple of numbers, him n partner Corporeal Face team up on their Ritual Poison imprint as Escape Earth for the breakbeat pressure and also more of that UK dubby houseyness with a solo outing, not to be missed.  Kessler, MOY, Tys and Konerytmi also providing the atmospherics.  Take the plunge!

I dug out and ripped a stack of bleepy techno, breakbeat and deep house records for this episode, starting off with a Finnish whitelabel by Marko Laine that I found at the flea market in Midsommarkransen about two years ago. From here we're moving to Swedish territory with B2 from Ohm's insanely sought-after compilation Bip Pfff Brrr 1, followed by two tracks from the Bassheads! Number One compilation on Btech. You'll also hear one of the first tracks that Pierre Jerksten (Hertz)ever made. I found his Knockabout 12" when digging in Gothenburg recently.
