Back after he summer holiday feeling a little bit too relaxed and still in holiday mode.  luckily the amount of fresh material coming out weekly saves the soul.  Not often we play the 2 versions of a track in one episode but TR Ones' 'Turning point out now on Intrinsic Rhythm is just too good not to.  Brand new fish from the D and my man Big Strick who has been a staple of the show since the 2nd episode way back in 2012, deep don't die baby! Elsewhere Placid's W.G.D ups the acid ante with a 12 from Dircsen, more off that excellent slab of wax over rate coming weeks. Baldo has hit a rich seam as of late and again providing the goods on the reliable E Beamz imprint, listen and hear what I'm talking about. Local Manchester talent dropping bombs on MOS Marcus Paulson with his take on the classic Chicago sound and its a killer EP out on the 26th September through Delsin, run go tell a friend!  Providing the fibre with the breaks and bass is myself and Brent Aquasky's Amen Tec and EMOTEC and Acid Boom with a mighty array of breakbeat delights, I may reveal the person behind the track 'Outta Limits' next week but for now gonna keep you guessing. Electronic music has inspired me all my life - from the start of the 80’s to the present day...
My passion is for Techno, but more especially the sounds from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Wave of Detroit, although to be fair I don't really give it too much thought these days where its from so long as the production is tight, the rhythm is funky and the beats raw... 
I've been listening, buying and watching the 'scene' since 1989 when the UK was entering a phase of diluted dance sounds, err rave - for me the Detroit influence was then and is still the order of the day, the difference now is that there are a few more 'proper' techno heads about with a vision of the future and their roots in the past... 
Long live the underground...
