Welcome back after another brief hiatus we're back and we have a beast of a mix from the big man Perseus Traxx! We kick off with some cracking Gated bits. We caught up with Perseus AKA Nigel to see what we can expect from himover the next few months.

The Weapons Of Desire back catalogue went digital on 17th of February and a month later they released a collection of my music under the title “Plastic Drums & Transistor Funk” on Weapons on Digital, Ten tracks of me going back to basics with just a 707 and an acid box with some effects. On April 29th I’m doing an in-store at 'Plant & Deck', then playing records at 'Signed Up' in Leeds. We’re going to be joined by the fantastic Stu Crosbie plus 3am Recordings and Leeds party stalwart Al Bradley is also coming to join us. They both have a whole wealth of good music to check out.

On May 26th I’m back there again doing the first live show in a very long time, alongside the legend that is Derek Carr. I’m really looking forward to this one. The Imaginarium is a truly brilliant little venue, recently set up by my friend Roya and her associates, with 'Plant and Deck' selling records and plants on the ground floor next to a small cafe bar and space upstairs for, yoga, open mic, acoustic, and parties upstairs. There's a real family feeling in there, and a brilliant place to hang out, with frequent in-store sessions for the shop, and intermittent broadcasts for NARR Radio. It’s only about 110 capacity so anyone wanting to come down should keep their eyes peeled and maybe check out The Imaginarum Facebook page or website:

Long-time Freerotation regular Luke Farey from Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, England delivers almost 2 hours up in the mix for his debut on Avenue Red! Luke has been a DJ, collector and enthusiast of many, many styles since 1989. As per usual, here we have an unplanned and strictly vinyl-only mix capturing his mood at the time of recording. Never keen on the safe or easy mix, here we have a smorgasbord of feelings, meandering all over the place but somehow cohesively retaining Luke's trademark deep and psychedelic vibe. The Avenue isn't just red today, it's bursting with colour!
