An ARIA Club Chart DJ holding current residencies at iconic queer venues POOF DOOF and Sircuit, he's a staple at LGBTQI+ events nationwide and has graced stages at major festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Pitch Music & Arts and Beyond The Valley. His most recent career highlight headlining the forecourt stage at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party playing to over 5000 party goers in February 2023

As a producer, Argonaut has built a career on reworking pop hits into club-ready cuts for his dance floors, providing unique and signature Argonaut moments that have set his sound apart. His unofficial bootlegs for artists like Dua Lipa, Scissor Sisters, Kim Petras - and of course Kylie - have been streamed over 500,000 times and played far and wide by queer DJ peers locally and across the pond. His debut release “Fame” was released in June 2022 on Extrovert Records, under the iconic Australian dance label Vicious Recordings.

Argonaut is also the musical face and co-producer of the 'Bar Kylie' dance event which tours nationally which has lead to residencies at Arts Centre Melbourne and Geelong Arts Centre during their Kylie Minogue fashion exhibits. Faced with the COVID lockdowns in 2020 Argonaut quickly took his live shows and that of Bar Kylie to an online arena reaching audiences across the globe, clocking in over 500,000 views on Facebook and Twitch (and counting!) since March 2020.

Whenever Argonaut’s on the decks it's a total vibe - whether at the club, at a festival, in a bar or being streamed at home – his sets are full of joy giving everyone freedom to dance and express their true self on the dance floor.

Dan Slater is an Australian DJ and Producer based in the United States.

After years in the club scene as one of the most in demand dancers and show producers, Dan’s love of music eventually lured him onto the decks – and this new chapter has gained him the attention of promoters and clubbers around the world.

He has been bringing his upbeat, chunky house sound to dance floors across the globe, and his talent for sculpting the energy of a party is in a league of its own. He draws from the progressive sounds of the European club scene, as well as the Latino fire of South America as he moves seamlessly between house, circuit, tech and deep house.

Dan kicked off his DJ career as winner of the Sydney Mardi Gras DJ Spin-Off Competition, and was most recently the curator of the Domain Dance Party at Sydney WorldPride. Dan’s foray into the studio for production has seen him produce remixes for Cher, Alfie Arcuri, Samantha Jade, Carmen Elektra, Zoë Badwi, Brian Justin Crum, Tim Campbell, Nat Conway, Britney Spears, Paulini, Ultra Nate and Marcia Hines. His first release, ‘Minute Of You’ saw him collaborate with JimJam, and featured soul diva Nalaya. He released 'We Are', ‘Sold My Soul’, 'I've Been Waiting' and ‘Respectable’ with Australian singer-songwriter, Zoë Badwi. Dan recently released 'Pieces' & 'Hard To Say I'm Sorry' with American singer-songwriter Alan Gendreau.

“Across this record, there are emotional fields I hadn’t ventured into previously with Hercules & Love Affair,” says Butler. “Destruction, rage, loss, but also redemption and journeying towards empowerment are all touchstones on the album. Reuniting with ANOHNI for the first time since her stellar turn on the eponymous debut in 2008 (which undeniably produced one of the most beloved dance tunes of the oughts “Blind”) proved key to this process. Both share a love and deep respect for music of a more aggressive bent, zig zagging from grindcore like Godflesh and Bolt Thrower, via electronic avant-garde like Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire to female fronted punk and metal like Sacrilege, Fear of God and Diamanda Galas.  On the other end of the spectrum, they have an equally intense appreciation for darker ethereal acts such as This Mortal Coil and Dead Can Dance.
