We welcome back the sub frequency specialists from Brussels for their second LP on Samurai Music. Peppered with a sizzling selection of like-minded collaborators, Grassroots continues the enhanced exploration into dub infused, stripped back Drum and Bass, deftly splashing breakbeat shards over their rolling grooves. The collaborators each add their signature spice to the Untouchables proven recipe while retaining the heat-seeking attention to groove that is inherent to The Untouchables signature construction methods. Originally an EP for the label, the submissions outgrew the EP format organically until the project became an LP that flows seamlessly, touching every corner of the Untouchables stylistic repertoire. While their considered attention to the nether regions of bass frequencies gives the LP the weight it needs to command any large system, this is also an LP for listeners - an alluring headphone expedition.

We are very proud to announce what will be our first reference of the year 2022. We welcome the mysterious and newcomer Japanese group YHVHSQUAD who make their debut on our label with their work called "電影 Lightning". YHVHSQUAD has released recent works on the Kurnugû or Zodiac Music labels with a very defined style within experimental Drum & Bass and they come to our label with a 4 Track EP that includes a collaboration with Missive where they take us into their Industrial, psychological and experimental sound, characterized by dirty basses, noises and corrosive distortions combined with wicked drums and percussion. Following on from their last Tribe 12 release back in February, Belgium based duo, The Untouchables, have been making waves with minimal d&b. Now returning with some of the most militant beats this year, and support from highly renowned artists like dBridge and Loxy, The Untouchables are more than living up to their name.
Kicking things off on the A side is the brutal ‘Adamantium’, a meaty arrangement of half time beats and menacing synth lines. Continuing things along a similar vein is the unmissable VIP of ‘Correction Coming Forward’ – a more solid up-to-date take.
Swaying the mood a bit more upbeat, The Untouchables have teamed up with UK producer Gappa G for a more dub-influenced track.
