This track is a bit like a report from the scene, it is like a documentary, there you will hear my voice and special atmosphere of a foggy spring morning May 27, 2013 in which is merged together despair and magic. This track is not negative or positive, it is in the middle. Recording was made spontaneously, unplanned. I have filmed fog and myself in it from 4 to 8 in the morning to make a video clip (which as a result was made to a track "In The Heart Of Inaccessible"), and in the morning I also recorded my voice, talking in English. All what I said in this track was deeply experienced, I uttered the words deliberately, with a purity of thought, putting into words an incredible amount of energy and emotion that even more important than grammar and correct pronunciation of English words. English at the time I knew a lot worse than it is now. Audio recording was recorded via camera with a pretty low-quality built-in microphone and then I cut it from the video and I made new track using this material at the end of October 2014, but I spent whole autumn, winter and part of spring until April 4, 2015 trying to catch right mood for its completion, and it was necessary to improve low quality of field-recordings. That what I have created in that morning happened accidentally, but very sincerely and in those words is powerful energy, the consequences of which have brought changes into my life. It's not just a track, this is rite of love embodied in audio track in which I asked my future beloved one to find me ...

Этот трек немного напоминает репортаж с места событий, он документальный, в нём вы услышите мой голос и особенную атмосферу туманного весеннего утра 27 мая 2013 года в которой слилось воедино отчаяние и волшебство. Этот трек не негативен и не позитивен, он посередине. Запись была сделана спонтанно, незапланированно. Я записывала туман и себя на видео с 4 до 8 утра, чтобы сделать видео-клип (который в результате был сделан для трека "In The Heart Of Inaccessible"), и в тоже утро я записала свой голос на английском языке. Всё, что я сказала в этом треке было глубоко пережито, я произносила те слова осознанно, с чистотой помыслов, вкладывая в слова невероятное количество энергии и эмоций, что даже важнее грамматики и правильности произношения английских слов. Английский на тот момент я знала гораздо хуже чем сейчас. После этого случая я оставила файлы в покое на некоторое время, забыв о них. Аудиозапись была записана на камеру с довольно некачественным встроенным микрофоном, а потом вырезана из видео, из этого материала я сделала трек в конце октября 2014, но мне понадобилось ещё целая осень, зима и часть весны вплоть до 4 Апреля 2015, чтобы поймать нужное состояние для его завершения. То что я сотворила в то утро, произошло случайно, но очень искренне и в словах тех мощная энергия, последствия которой привнесли изменения в мою жизнь. Это не просто трек, это запечатленный обряд любви, обряд в котором я призывала моего будущего избранника найти меня...

The Rite Of Love In The Spring Fog

D A M P N E S S  - scrupulously designed, multilayered, consisting from smallest details and particles the atmospheric action, saturated by unusual using of acoustic and electronic instruments and deformed, strange, transformed beyond recognition field-recordings. 

Almost all music is devoted to ancient practice of the Tibetan llamas «Anchient Secret of the Fountain of Youth» which is powerful system of improvement, a rejuvenation, and increase spiritual power, integrity, harmony of spirit. Her works and a nickname Dampness are closely connected with special perception of the natural phenomena, such as a rain, fog, cold, which is extremely necessary for her.

At the heart of all was a surrealistic, abstract works painted oil on canvases, and music became natural continuation of a picturesque embodiment of conditions in the richest palette, already, musical canvases. Simply once, on March, 16th 2006, Alena has decided to splash out the inspiration in music, by using "Garageband". Dampness project started to exist in that day. During the period with 2006 for 2010, has been written down more than 50 compositions. 

On October, 5th, 2008, there was a debut album "Life Without The Canvas", consisting of two CDs. An album cover is one of her pictures, written prior to the beginning of muses activity. For the period of the record lasting of 2 years, she has completely refused a canvas and paints, from here there was an album name. 

On February, 12th, 2010, has been published release consisting from old both new material and remixes "Rarities and Mixes '06-'08".

The same year, on September, 17th - has been published "Embodiment of Spring and Dampness" - consisting of three new compositions, very atmospheric and strange, with a lot of field-recordings. Rustles, singing of birds, sounds of drops written down indoors, and Dampness vocal. A cover also is her oil picture "the Embodiment of Spring and the Dampness Embodiment". Presumably, this release will be added by new tracks and becomes a long-play in the future.

Dampness hasn't been signed any contract with a label since 2006 on 2012, there are no live performances, but Alena doesn't exclude that all it will be sometime carried out. Probably, the limited, exclusive editions of albums will be once. All covers of albums and a promo-photo creates by Dampness.
