Episode 4- True Happiness

— A historical television series on the life of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, the founder of Viet Nam Zen  Buddhism, will be filmed early next month by the private entertainment group, Viet Nam Tinh Hoa (Viet Ess).
The 45-part series, Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong (King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong), is written by a group of 11 scriptwriters and authors knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and Buddhism. The screenplay was based on nine novels by writers Hoang Quoc Hai, Ha An and Tran Dai Si.The film's director, Meritorious Artist Van Luong, and his staff spent more than three years preparing for filming. "My staff and I have worked with dozens of experts in language,   costume design, and props to improve our knowledge and understand how all of these fields in the film are important historically, technically, and socially," said Luong.
The series is about the life and  attainment of  Nirvana of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong , the third king of the Tran dynasty, who /əˈsend ascended the throne when he was just 21.The King was famed for defeating Mongol invaders. He   abdicated the throne when he was 35 and spent the rest of his life on Yen Tu Mountain, located in Quang Ninh Province, practising and  propagating Buddhism.He founded the Truc Lam School of Zen and worked to unify different Vietnamese Buddhism sects into Vietnamese Zen Buddhism.
The Central Committee of the Viet Nam  Buddhist Sangha has long observed the day the King attained Nirvana (the first day of the 11th lunar month) as the national anniversary of Vietnamese Buddhism.
"Through the film, we wanted to spotlight King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong's remarkable spirit and work," said Luong, adding that the film is his greatest project.Luong's film attracted more than 100 actors and stuntmen, who have been trained by film and theatre experts, such as People's Artists Nguyen Dinh Quang, Man Thu, Nhu Quynh and Le Chuc.
The producer Viet Ess has also constructed a 15-hectare studio in Uong Bi City in Quang Ninh Province for filming.
Post-production work on the film Phat Hoang Tran Nhan Tong will be completed in Ha Noi later this year.

Today, we’re going to look at four words that are going to help you to understand the kind of language you’re going to see in the reading passages on your IELTS exam. The theme for the words in today’s episode is information, and what we do with information when we think about things or when we interpret things. Interpret And in fact, interpret is the first word on the list. So let’s start with that one, okay? Interpret, what does it mean? Well, to interpret something means to make sense of something. To analyze something. We could use it, for example, in a situation where you are trying to analyze something you’re reading or hearing in another language, a language that’s not your native language. When you hear a word, and you are able to say it in your own language, maybe you’ll then try to explain it to a friend who doesn’t understand, you are interpreting what you hear. But it doesn’t have to be another language, you could interpret something that’s already in your own language. Often we use the word interpret for understanding something that’s complicated or difficult to understand, right? So maybe you have a complicated contract you’re looking at, and maybe it’s so complicated, you need a lawyer, or somebody, to help you understand what’s there. The lawyer is going to interpret it for you, to make sense of it, or analyze it for you. That’s what interpret means. Assume The next word is assume. To assume is to make a conclusion about something without having all of the facts or information. We often use the word assume when we’ve discovered that we are actually thinking about the wrong thing, or we’ve made a mistake about something. So for an example, maybe you thought a friend wasn’t coming to a party you were throwing. But then, actually, she did arrive. Okay so, you could say in that situation to your friend, “hey, I assumed you weren’t coming to my party, but I was so happy that you actually came.” To assume something is to think a certain way about something, without having all the facts or information. It does not necessarily mean you were wrong. You can assume something and find out that you’re correct about it later. For example, maybe you assume your friend isn’t going to the party, and in fact she doesn’t go. This time her...

If you want to sound more like an American, it's vital to pronounce vowels correctly. The following tongue twisters will help you reduce your accent for the vowels "a," "e""o" and "u."&nbsp; Like any other tongue twister, your goal is to recite as fast as possible and with few mistakes.&nbsp; Okay. Now let's see some tongue twisters. I'll start saying each tongue twister slowly and then continue faster.&nbsp; And while it's true that that at first, they can seem very difficult. Don't worry about it. Make sure to have the text in front of you because like that you can follow it better. 1. Excited executioner exercising his excising powers excessively.&nbsp; 2. Today, in this episode Let's look at some bad strategies and attitudes that don't quite work in conversation. I mean, like having awkward conversations. Next, you'll practice your fluency with a mini-story lesson—the best way to learn to speak English without translating mentally. Okay, let's start with an important question: Do you think that you are too old to learn English? I have always thought that it is never too late to learn a language, and I have always had students of all ages using my method successfully. But a few days ago, I received an email from a student in Greece, saying something like this: Dear Georgiana, hello, I'm delighted to see your programs. I think you give your soul to every lesson. My mother tongue is Greek, and I am proud because our language has a positive contribution to the English vocabulary. I'm also proud that I try to improve my English even though I'm 94 years old. Georgiana, I encourage you to continue with your English lessons. I admire you! Erotokritos Thank you, dear Erotokritos, for your kind words. You are an inspiration for all of us. So, you see, I think I've made my point. It's never too late to learn English. All right, have you ever been with someone and not know what to talk about? It's happened to me sometimes. Every once in a while, we run into situations where it's difficult to continue the conversation. One example is what happens in an elevator. Imagine that you meet a neighbor you hardly know, and a typical dialogue ends up going like this: —Good morning. —Good morning. —Going down? —Yes. — ... — It's cold today, isn't it? — Yes, yes. It's going to be like this all week, they say... — ... As you can see, this conversation is not very intellectual. It's more about avoiding silence, which can be uncomfortable. This doesn't just happen in elevators but in all kinds of social interactions. I read recently that a silence of four seconds or more triggers anxiety.
