Jolie Holland - Went To See The Gypsy (Bob Dylan Cover)

This is my cover of Bob Dylan's great feel-good song, You Ain't Goin' Nowhere.  He wrote it in 1967, but my cover uses his 1971 lyrics in a version he recorded with Happy and Artie Traum.  The lyrics are silly as can be, but the chorus is really great.  My cover has acoustic guitar, banjo. bass, harmonica, and vocals.   Recorded in Logic.  This is one of the great feel-good songs.  I hope you enjoy it.

I had a pack of cards for a pre sent today, actually a pack of cards with 100 inspiring quotes.
Well, one of the quotes certainly inspired my muse. The particular quote was about children seeing magic because they look for it. About an hour, maybe less, later. I had  completed a first draft. ran it thru Suno and changed a couple of lines and homed in on a 1960's pop song with a "wall of Sound"  effect. Remember Phil Spectre? Result, growing up in the sixties, how could I not love it. Hope you like it too, if so please let me   know.
