Defender are a four piece indie pop outfit hailing from the four pillars of West Yorkshire; Wakefield, Bradford, Todmorden and Leeds. Their sound is….hang on a minute.  What? I don’t know, is it dead? Try poking it with something. Did it move? It might be asleep just leave it. If it smells then it might be dead. I don’t know what dead cats smell of, maybe ‘off’ crisps. I don’t think it matters what flavour. Sour cream and chive then. The brand definitely doesn’t matter. This is going to have to wait, I’m in the middle of something . Where was I, ok, their sound is inspired by 90’s guitar bands, 60’s pop, hip hop and soul. Musically they are well known for delivering big riffs and even bigger beats harmoniously balanced by a lyrical mash of catchy melodies and cutting social commentary. Visually the band are stunning with a…. oh here we go. Is it awake? Yes thought so. Your stethoscope woke it did it? You’re not Supervet. What were you planning on doing with those clamps? And where on earth would you buy them? You been on the dark web again? Yes yes, thanks for coming mate, see you later. I haven’t got time for this. I’ll have to finish this later……
