Derrick Jones Jr Was Born September 23, 1984 in Bronx, N.Y, Where He Spent His Childhood And Most Of His Adult Life. Drama Always Had His MIND On Becoming The Next Big Thing. He Started Out As A DJ Going By Dj Knockout, Doing Parties In The Bronx And Harlem At The Age of 15. During That Time Drama Begin Writing And Making Beats. In 2006 Drama Moved To PA, Where His Longtime Friend Roni Smith (Mad Man) Came To Him With The Idea For RuffBoyzRecordz. They Eventually Become Partners, Producing Many Original Songs That Drama Himself, produced and edited. He is Currently CEO And Producing Tracks For RuffBoyzRecordz Up And Coming Artist, While Working On His Own EP

Hi I was born and raised on Long Island, NY, I was around family and friends who had a love for music. I did DJ work for a school I attended as well as personal planed parties at the age of 14. Being a DJ made me truly understand the culture of music. Ever since then it was my dream to be a song writer and performer.

I wrote and recorded DDI State of Mind in the spring of 2013 and I have performed the song at the DDI Talent Show in 2014. I have recorded a lot of freestyles but didn’t release them I got one track My Boo a track based on the Michelle beat and I recorded it and published it in 2014. In 2015 I recorded a freestyle track to the tech 9 Coolio Gangsters Paradise beat called I’m Not Broken.

In the present time, I am engaged to my soulmate Heather and I'm working hard on just Jamming and Recording Music. I like to dance, sing and just goof around with friends.
