For the first time in our 25-year history, we are releasing a live solo recording by Craig Richards from the club. 

“This mix was recorded on the second of December at a Continuum party. I commenced just after five and finished at nine. The heady combination of nostalgia coupled with the past, the future and more importantly my daughter dancing next to me, resulted in a mix that I felt happy with. Historically, I have been very self-critical and have chosen not to release many mixes. Across nearly four hours this one seems to encapsulate the twenty five years of playing at fabric. In 1998 I was invited by Keith Reilly to play weekly at what was an imaginary nightclub. I had no idea that experience would continue for so many years. Playing vinyl on that sound system and mixer is highly exciting and a joy in itself. I am delighted that this has been my method of sonic communication and remain deeply grateful for my ongoing residency.” - Craig Richards

They also gave rare interviews, reflecting on a deep musical connection that began in 2007, the legacy of minimal and lessons from a life spent in DJ booths the world over. 

"I felt excited and lucky to be invited so early in what I now see as a much longer journey," wrote Dygas. "Music holds memories in its frequencies, and the right track can transport you instantly to a past version of yourself. That’s powerful. That’s the kind of power I respect." Amen.

Yo, I’m Daniel Lazarus, spinning beats sharper than a crate-digger’s needle. My SoundCloud’s a sonic boom, built on a 25-year vinyl obsession that kicked off at the legendary Massive Records in Oxford—RIP to that sacred ground. I’ve been hunting rare tech house and breakbeat gems on Discogs ever since, stacking a collection so filthy it could make a turntable blush.
Relocated to Manchester in 2002—hands down the coolest city on the planet—and never looked back. I cut my teeth in the sweaty, bass-heavy chaos of Sankey’s Soap ‘til it shuttered, and before that, I was a Fabric faithful in London, worshipping at the altar of thumping 4/4s from day one. Learned to mix pre-YouTube, so yeah, my early sets were car-crash symphonies, but I honed my craft in Manchester’s dive bars and the occasional club, turning faders into fireworks.
Now? I’m holed up in my own studio, surrounded by classic analog drum machines, synths that hum like they’re alive, and a growing stash of DJ mixers that’d make gear nerds weep. My sound’s a love letter to tech house’s golden era, breakbeat’s gritty swagger, and the kind of vibes that make dancefloors lose their minds. Hit play—let’s get weird.
