Australian pop rock band, Set The Record debuted in 2012, bursting onto the scene with their punchy, energetic performances, and catchy, pop punk infused songs that echoed vibes of artists like New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World and Paramore.

The quintet from Brisbane continued making waves in 2013, working with Electric Sun Studios in Sydney (Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, With Confidence), recording their second EP, ‘Above the World’. Fans made the debut single ‘Real’ trend #1 nationally on Twitter, leading to mainstream radio play on Austereo’s network.

Continuous touring throughout the country earned the band opportunities to open for international acts The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Maine, Relient K, Cartel, and AS IT IS.

2021 has seen STR back in the studio, releasing raucous new music, videos, and performances, breathing a fresh onslaught of noise back into the live scene.

Scott’s mission since first stepping up to the decks over 20 years ago has always been to deliver quality music to the masses, and his versatility is the most valuable weapon in his arsenal. 

In the past he pushed darker progressive house and tribal rhythms, as well as tech-funk flavoured breaks, and is now focussing his passion for deep house, tech-house, and the more melodic strains of minimal. That's not to say he can't still smash out a peak time set of main room techno though. Scott's ability to blend such diverse elements together ensures that every set is a smooth ride no matter how wide the musical spectrum.  Yet the emphasis, as always, remains on reading the dancefloor, and Scott’s floor filling abilities are without peer.

After gradually building his profile from 1999 playing house, techno, and trance Scott really smashed his way into the Brisbane clubbing consciousness with a storming set after Steve Lawler on the tribal legend’s 2002 Lights Out tour - a set so strong that many couldn’t tell when Lawler ended and Walker took over. Since then Scott’s career has continued on a rapid upward trajectory, with his unique sound capturing the imagination of dancefloors all over Australia from Melbourne to Sydney and Canberra to Cairns, and even into Asia. Neroli.....
One of Australia’s top female DJs, a DJ born with music in her soul. This woman has grown with diverse musical influences. As long as there is soul to it, she is happy. The people who fill her dancefloor every week in the biggest clubs & festivals, from Australia to London, Europe & Asia,  can’t quite explain her magic, but they know they’re left hypnotized after a musical dose. There’s a certain indefinable energy when the talented spinner takes to the dex and it goes much deeper than the frothing pit of anticipation from the hipshakers on dancefloors small or large. Some DJs play records, others go further and captivate their audience.

A 25 year veteran of the dance music industry, Queensland’s no.1 female dj, & one of Australia’s best, Neroli knows the route to musical satisfaction isn’t as simple as beat mixing two tracks together; it’s about tapping into the dancefloor’s groove and gradually building the anticipation towards a heady climax, no matter the size of the room or club. Indeed, anyone who’s been lucky enough to witness one of her performances will agree; dancing isn’t optional, it’s a necessity.

It’s a sixth sense for entertaining that Neroli has cultivated since a young age, having cut her teeth playing guitar and learning percussion since she was 11 years old.  Neroli was the lead singer & rhythm guitarist of brisbane band Velour until the Dj career took over. She’d first found herself behind the dex in 1996, after a friend – aware of her mammoth record collection – asked her to DJ at a dance party they were holding. With a natural ear for programming, she came up trumps over 5 hours – throwing down an energetic mix of house, and energetic beats to a massive response. Neroli was hooked and so were they.

What’s followed has been a remarkable snowball effect that’s showed no signs of slowing down. A multi-faceted artist, Neroli fronted Brisbane-based band Velour between 1995-99 as their guitarist and lead vocalist, all the while building up an impressive DJ following thanks to her patented style of groove-ridden house, disco and electro, and more recently Progressive House sets

An in demand spinner throughout Australia and her home state of Queensland, and now London & Europe, there aren’t many place where Neroli hasn’t devastated a dancefloor. She’s held down residencies at Brisbane’s iconic superclub Family and Gold Coast’s Platinum for seven and four years respectively. She’s also been a constant at The Wickham, Monastery as well as regularly playing interstate in many top  Sydney’s venues, including regular appearances at Sydney MARDI GRAS, BITCH event for women, Melbourne’s famed Onelove, Q Bar and The Market. She also held an 8 year residency at the famous Heaven Nightclub in London keeping international audiences dancing their socks off!

Her festival appearances have seen her smash crowds at Good Vibrations, Future Music Festival, Summafieldayze, Parklife and Mardi Gras. Her list of world-class international supports is no less impressive, with Neroli’s smooth skills on display supporting the likes of Sister Bliss (Faithless), Armand van Helden, Dr Packer, Martin Solveig, Stonebridge, Michael Woods, Tiesto, The Stafford Brothers (in Aust & the UK), Carl Kennedy, Nic Fanciulli, Helena, Tom Neville, among many many others.

No surprise that she’s twice polled in ITM50’s prestigious DJ poll , peaking at no.34 in Australia and no.7 in Queensland, making her the most successful female DJ in the state’s history.

Internationally, Neroli continues to garner kudos. On three occasions she’s completed a successful European and Asian tour, rocking crowds throughout London, Manchester, Ibiza, Gothenburg, Barcelona, Italy, Singapore and beyond. Neroli now resides mosty of the year in London, and has held down an 8 year residency at London’s longest running iconic nightclub HEAVEN for the weekly event Popcorn, as well as playing funky house sets at Hed Kandi London, Cafe De Paris, Gigalum, The End & other clubs around London & Europe.
Stepping away from the dex and towards the microphone, Neroli has augmented her DJ achievements by co-hosting the Wild FM radio show on Brisbane’s 94.9 with Harry K throughout 2005 and ‘06.
More recently in London Neroli has teamed up with a fellow singer/songwriter working on the live performance for her album, providing backing vocals & production & playing keyboards.

With an eye for the dancefloor and an ear for butt-shaking beats, Neroli plans to extend her involvement in the industry via productions, with the talented lady bunkering down in the studio crafting her own tracks and bringing the vocal, production, performance skills & DJing all together. And one thing is for certain; if the tunes are anywhere near as exciting as her inimitable DJing skills, the results are set to be devastating.
