The idea for this song came while we rode through southern France from Paris to Barcelona.  The countryside seemed so familiar and comfortable, as if it were calling to me to come home.

The Train to Barcelona

He was staring the window on the train to Barcelona
We rode through ancient fields and tears welled in his eyes

He was on his way to join her on that lonely path he followed
We rode through picture postcards of fields of green and brown

His journey is soon ending, he’ll be home tomorrow
