C est là en plein cœur de l’orage qu’Elle surgit là
C’est depuis le fond de moi qu’elle me foudroie
Elle surgit là, quelque part ....

Ces nouvelles montagnes à grimper ....
Je me retourne une dernière fois vers ce monde,
ce bout de moi que je vais laisser,
Seule une partie va me rester.
Je regarde l’autre se détacher,
Je n’ai pas le choix, je dois avancer:
A cette main du destin, je ne peux résister.
Une nouvelle partie va se rejouer
Est-ce à prendre ou à laisser?
Vais-je partir vers ces contrées insoupçonnées?
Les dés de ma vie ont été relancés
Vais-je la même rester?
Tout vient de se bouleverser
Toutes les pages de ma vie se sont retournées
Tout a été redistribué .… pour tout recommencer
Tel un phœnix je renais de mes cendres.
Je ne peux plus prétendre…

Je regarde une dernière fois tout autour de moi .…
Et je fais alors le premier pas.

I return one last time to this world,

Award winning composer and producer.  Soundtracks, theatre, experimental, and random creations.  Forestwave.  The origin story ties in with the VIC-20.

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. Thank you for your kind listening.

I have always admired music, of diverse styles. Like most of us, I have tried learning to play a few instruments at a basic level in my teenage. But it is only now, in the 21st century, that modern software allows anyone to fool around being the composer, the designer of a whole composition, simpler or more complex, organising together the parts of the various instruments - and to hear the results of this experimentation or inspiration instantly! That is how I have recently begun enjoying the distraction of attempts at composing during my leisure, discovering an amazing dimension of life, and art, perhaps the most intangible, heightening and hypnotising one, and the closest to the soul... Hello dear Soundcloud listeners,

I'm still determined to continue producing music, the music of Pier Will, which can only be heard on Soundcloud and which can also be recorded... for now.

The world of music is rapidly moving towards a huge upheaval where the true musician will very quickly become "rare," or even more and more of a shadow, a peculiarity, a memory. This time is not so far away, as AI takes a predominant place in everything that touches us and surrounds us and in Music, this can already be heard very clearly!

Apparently, everyone is taking this lightly, and the few diehards are being sneered at as anti-progress terrorists, for now. I already have two work computers disconnected from the internet, which house my software and everything I need to work. No more updates for them to work properly... updates are only necessary if you need to connect! Another computer is dedicated solely to internet connection and will be used exclusively for streaming the tracks.

This decision has serious consequences for my production, as there are no more options to add anything to it. It's a gamble, but for me, it's an obligation to remain completely independent and free from AI.

Je suis toujours déterminé à continuer à produire de la musique, celle de Pier Will, que l'on ne peut écouter que sur Soundcloud et qui peut aussi être enregistrée… pour l'instant.

Le monde de la musique s'achemine rapidement vers un bouleversement majeur où le véritable musicien deviendra très vite « rare », voire de plus en plus une ombre, une singularité, un souvenir. Ce temps n'est pas si lointain, car l'IA prend une place prépondérante dans tout ce qui nous touche et nous entoure, et en musique, cela se voit déjà très clairement !

Apparemment, tout le monde prend cela à la légère, et les quelques irréductibles sont méprisés comme des terroristes anti-progrès, pour l'instant. J'ai déjà deux ordinateurs de travail déconnectés d'Internet, qui hébergent mes logiciels et tout ce dont j'ai besoin pour travailler. Plus besoin de mises à jour pour qu'ils fonctionnent correctement… les mises à jour ne sont nécessaires que si vous avez besoin de vous connecter ! Un autre ordinateur est dédié uniquement à la connexion Internet et sera utilisé exclusivement pour le streaming des morceaux.

Cette décision a de graves conséquences sur ma production, car il n'y a plus aucune possibilité d'y ajouter quoi que ce soit. C'est un pari risqué, mais pour moi, c'est une obligation de rester totalement indépendant et libre de toute IA.
