A re-release of my first ever project. I can't find the original album art, but someone asked for it and thought, since a new album is coming, I might as well make this old one available. the growth is cool to see.

I don't think this is the original tracklisting either, but I can't remember what it was. All the same, please enjoy. I think the original release date was some time in 2012 or 2013. I used bandcamp. I remember taking it down. Wish I hadn't though. anyone else out there who's thinking of purging, don't. Just put it on private. This art is our memory, among other things.

New Original Music - Matija Krstic on vocals

A journey into the crazy mind.

This first track is all about shadow work. I sampled the vocals from  "Daisy" by Ashnikko and created essentially a story that follows the crazy mind. In the beginning it is simple and repetitive with sultry female vocals that are intended to simultaneously provoke a sense of attraction and fear. The words ring out "Not this again!" as the sequence repeats once more. Following this we have a sense of calm and reflection that launches into a sonic jungle introducing more chaos and complexity as we get a sense of some beast or monster being held back lurching forward attempting to break free. After this tension builds there is the declaration "I Bite Back!" as the animal is unleashed in a manic flurry.

As 2020 comes to close we are taking stock of life as it compares to a year ago. Nothing was as it seemed then, and likely nothing is now either. We are all deep inside a massive collective psychedelic journey. Good trip bad trip, all our paths overlap. 

On our new album, out now, we explore the idea that we are at the crux of a significant leg of this journey.  Like that moment in most every trip when you are faced with a fear or anxiety and must make a decision on how to proceed, the crux presents both crisis and opportunity.

The featured track here, "Common Ground” is about finding a place for us all to meet in these divisive times in hopes that we can unify and find a path forward.

Cooperation, communication and dialogue are key to unity and resilience.

On the Crux album we are taking musical chances. Some of the most personal songs we’ve written mixed with raw sketched out ideas, to full blown improvised compositions. This is our way of processing the radical changes that have become routine for all of us. This album represents our subconscious hopes and fears for the time ahead.
