Supercharged guitar, soaring voice, vamping harmonica and evoking lyrics, that’s Asa Broomhall. 
His show has enchanted audiences everywhere from Concerts and Festivals all over Oz, the UK and North America. Countless tours with renown artists and 5 self-produced releases under his belt, Asa is one of Australia’s finest Independent acts.


Balloons Kill Babies make heavy instrumental post-rock in Brisbane, Queensland. Succinctly described as “huge and dark,” their performances in and around the city attract audiences hungry for something different. 

Their recently released debut is Leviathan, combining the delicate, layered textures of Sigur Ros with the driving insistence of Nine Inch Nails. Sam Haycroft (Sydonia; I Am Duckeye) provided original artwork and graphic design, while seminal local producer Marly Luske (The Red Paintings; Deep Purple) has recorded, mixed and mastered all tracks. This limited production of only 300 copies was released July 20th at the Brisbane leg of Welkin Entertainment’s SANS VOX festival.

Leviathan has received airplay on community radio and the Andrew Haug "Heavy at Home" program. 

Guitarist Christian Carter and drummer Francis Daly formed and dismantled progressive doom metal Anhedonia by the age of 21. They now produce intricate, beautifully textured sounds directly from the collective subconscious. Bassist Karl O’Shea began his musical career with alternative rock outfit My Dying Days and drives the band’s low end with a resolute and experimental approach.
