Paul has inspired many audiences over the years with his work on both acoustic piano and electronic keys.  Paul leads "Jazz Hands," a Denver-based ensemble dedicated to traditional jazz and originals. He is also available for collaboration, projects, gigs in the metro area.

Paul’s career began at age seven as a finalist for the Washington State Young Composers Competition for his composition “Song of Israel. From childhood to present, he has incorporated a compendium of genres, including classical, new age and jazz, and cultivating his unique, but accessible style.

Paul’s music concurrently matured in the late 1970s with the rising popularity of other solo piano performers, such as George Winston, Liz Story, and Peter Kater.  

Paul’s musical collaborations are as diverse as his influences. Paul’s musical career also includes accompanying and composing for modern dance troupes, including Hanya Holm, Claudia Gitelman, and Alice Terstein. More recently, he has created a score for an independent movie, “Jerusalem Tango” as well as an instrumentalist in “3 in 1” a contemporary worship band.

Paul received his Master’s degree from the University of Denver and a B.A. from Colorado College.

Julianne Q & The Howl are fronted by the powerful vocals and creative mind of Julianne Q. Born from the spirit of Julianne Q & The Band, this new project is carving its own path in Chicago’s music scene. Their blend of groove-based, tightly-wound rock 'n roll with the stunning voice of lead vocalist Julianne Q synthesizes influences including Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Jack White, and Greta Van Fleet. Raw emotional energy drives the evocative imagery in their lyrics, introducing a classic take on modern rock songwriting. With larger-than-life performances, Julianne Q & The Howl leave their audience with an unforgettable experience. Chicago Music Guide was founded by Dennis M. Kelly in 2004 and started from the simple desire to help friends, but with Chicago's vast array of great talent, the site grew quickly from there.

A number of the staff members of the Chicago Music Guide is either currently a musician themselves or used to be a musician at one time. We have the insider’s perspective on what musicians would need and want to see and we strive hard to give it to them.

Adult-alternative rockers, Pino Farina Band, are known for their showmanship, high-energy performances as well as tender, intimate songs. Lead singer and lyricist Pino Farina’s powerhouse voice is his true instrument and is often compared to that of late indie-artist Jeff Buckley’s. His five-octave voice range envelops one’s heart as he and the band take listeners through trials, tribulations, and redemption in their songs. After touring the country extensively as the award-winning band Pünsapaya (Chicago Music Awards, 2005 Rock Album of the Year) with their debut album Prepare to Qualify, they stepped away for a time of rediscovery as artists, songwriters and performers. In 2018, the band released Start Over Again and have been enthusiastically welcomed back by long-time fans and a new musical community. When venues shuttered their doors during the pandemic, Pino Farina Band connected a community virtually through music. Wowed by the sometimes four-hour livestreams, their bourgeoning popularity earned them a feature role in the documentary, Cover 21: Ignite Chicago. Released in 2021 this indie film explored the local music industry, the hardships faced and strategies formed to overcome and thrive in that challenging environment.   Their new EP “Daisies” is not a sweet flower of an album, but a “pushing up daisies” collection of songs dealing with self-doubt, relationship struggles, rock bottoms and situations where life turns on a dime.
