Raised in Nassau, Bahamas, Phephi began releasing covers on Soundcloud in middle school under the name "Sofie," but changed her name as she matured and found her style. She started quietly recording, producing, and mixing her songs in her bedroom and dorm. Phephi’s sensual and shimmering vocals decorate instrumentals with honest and vulnerable lyrics.

Naive, also know as Dave Pilcher was born in the States in a backward town near Tulsa, Oklahoma, although at the age of one his parents moved over to the UK near Brighton where he picked up his love for music.

After years of producing beats for the countries best emcees and his crew Tactical Thinking, Naive has stepped out of the shadows to form the new Naive Machine project. To let the instrumentals take centre stage while retaining the cut-and-paste aesthetic developed from a lifetime of crate digging and sampling, the new project showcases a more synthesized, electronic sound.

Having already supported the likes of Machinedrum, Afrika Hitech, Eskmo, Slugabed and more the new Naive Machine live show is ready to step up. Plus  composing for the Ace of Spades computer game and also for a Guinness advert - Keep them ears pealed and them eyes sharp!

This Soundcloud is set up by Stefan Karl Stefansson the actor or Robbie Rotten, Mark Valenti Lazy Town head Writer and Mani Svavarsson the composer of the song 'We Are Number One' which has become a meme sensation that possibly climaxed in a live event on Facebook on December 11th 2016.
