It can be difficult to come out of ourselves and share ourselves with another and finding the right balance to know not to trust something too good on the one hand, and on the other hand, not to be afraid of our own fear and to learn to comfortably match to each other's rhythm.

Prisoner of the Fairy Dust.

This original pop ballad relates two people who have been separated and unable to be together for too long. When they are finally reunited it seems too good to be true. There is a tension, trepidation in how to reengage and to open up the deep affection they have for one another. The ukulele drives this one from the start as it brings some old school crooning with the two voices that celebrate this uplifting love song.

This track has been in my head as an idea for quite a while. I was looking for an opportunity to give one of my favorite guitar players on SoundCloud a prime spot in a new tune of mine. I am referring to Louis Taverna @louis-taverna here, an extraordinary electric guitar player, who is a master in all the fields of shred guitar playing rooted in the eighties and beyond. He does so with taste and conviction. And boy, he helps lift this jazz rock and prog track to great heights! I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I did!

Ein musikalisches Poem an das magische Mondlicht in der Nacht.
Wenn das Licht des Vollmondes die Nacht in eine geheimnisvolle Welt verwandelt. 
Als ich noch ein Kind war, erzählte meine Oma zur guten Nacht am Bett kleine Geschichten. Heute ist eine Vollmondnacht. Da kommen die Feen der Nacht. Beten und besingen das heilige Licht des Mondes zum Wohle der Menschen.
Ist doch mal eine schöne Vorstellung.

A musical poem about the magical moonlight at night.
When the light of the full moon transforms the night into a mysterious world.
When I was a child, my grandmother used to tell little stories to say good night in bed. Today is a full moon night. Here come the fairies of the night. Pray and sing of the holy light of the moon for the good of the people.
It's a beautiful idea.

This site is for my musical avatar or alter ego. Architect/partner/company owner by day, I find myself playing guitar and writing these tracks in afterhours, at nights, evenings, when in need of a dose of guitar sounds. You will find a wide range of guitar oriented music, ranging from Jazz to Blues, Flamenco to Classical, Rock to Fusion. And many collaborations with some great musicians.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old, largely self-taught and have tried different styles and instruments: Renaissance lute, flamenco guitar, classical guitar, steel string guitar and electric guitar with which I have been playing in styles ranging from rock and metal in my early years to classical music, some American Folk music, jazz rock, prog rock, flamenco nuevo and fusion.

It’s been a splendid time here so far, in collaborating with a lot of brilliant musicians on SoundCloud and sharing ideas and the passion for music. 
My collaborations are with musicians that I have a deep respect for and have a mutual appreciation for real instruments, and musical styles that focus on letting the instruments “shine”.

Currently I am using Amplitube and Auria on an iPad as DAW with Final Touch for mastering. For acoustic recording I use an Apogee microphone.
