Lauren Bransby is a folk acoustic singer songwriter based in London. She taught herself from the age of 15 and since then has followed her love and passion. Her style can be described as a mixture of up-beat rythmical tunes with finger-picking calming melodies which create a new encapsulating style of music. Inspired by musicians like Carole King, Joni Mitchell, John Martyn, Norah Jones and Jamie Cullum, she looks to the heart of the song with a meaning and a story.

She has played on University radio and Eastbourne Youth radio. Lauren has recently released her debut album called ‘Still’.

My work is highly improvisational, often linked to the work I produce in film or painting. I have recently produced music for Ballet and have been known to compose for short and feature films
