Steinway artist, Chad Lawson, decided Chopin needed a new introduction. Along with violinist Judy Kang (Lady Gaga, Ryuichi Sakamoto) and cellist Rubin Kodheli (Kanye West, Norah Jones), Lawson has arranged ten Chopin works into a minimalist landscape.

It's a risk editing the "poet of the piano" but one that Chopin would be proud of.

Taking 10 Chopin works, Lawson decided to scale the works down to a minimalist setting. "I knew even if bare-bones, Chopin's works could still be as spellbinding as the original compositions we are so familiar with." says the pianist.

A Neo Soul / Alt-R&B piece about heartbreak, anxiety and trying to drink away the thoughts that won’t leave you alone. Late-night bar energy, one man, one phone, too many messages he shouldn’t reread. 

Ironically, I actually wrote this whilst clubbing back in 2017/2018 and it stayed in my notes until now. I planned to release it but I gave up being an artist to just compose/ produce. Then AI came along and I thought... why not get AI to sing it in tune. 🤣

Decided to write some music based off what I miss about outside. I thought about it and realized that I miss the Panic and dangers that you come across heading to and from a destination. Weather you're using public transportation or driving yourself, There's a certain level of panic involved with people rushing to get to work or to get home. For years I would take the bus and pass car accidents, I hear the sounds of everyday people going to work, Sometimes you'll cross paths with people who are extremely nice and other times you'll come across someone who isn't which to me creates a certain level of Everyday Panic. Yes we pray and hope that we're brought home safe...But some of us aren't so lucky and so My entry reflects the panic that goes into everyday. We've all been in doors and trying to stay as safe as possible. I hope you enjoy this piece of music :)
