2hr mix which aired on Fnoob Techno radio 4th July, set played at my recent gig for Room 2s warehouse rave in London.. was a special night.. Doug Cooney is a long-standing contributor to Ireland’s techno scene. Early on, he was influenced by artists such as Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, James Ruskin, Steve Rachmad, Reeko, BMB, Surgeon, and Exium. 
He is a founding member of RLSD Records, a label that has consistently supported forward-thinking techno. Alongside his output as a producer and DJ, Doug teaches at Bray Institute of Further Education, helping to support and develop the next generation of Irish techno artists.
Doug’s productions have received support from respected names like Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, and Rødhåd. He has worked with Aiken, Binny, Lee Holman and Jon Hester, who have remixed his tracks. Doug also regularly features on Dave Clarke’s White Noise radio show on 2fm, showcasing his unreleased music.
