KOOKOO Records présente “Outtakes”, le deuxième EP de The Director. Suite au succès de son EP B-Movie qui l’a amené sur les scènes d’Autriche à l'Electric Love Festival, de New York City au Silencio, au Pamela de Paris ou à Montréal pour l’Igloofest, Mathis aka The Director a décidé de rallumer son studio digne de "Homework" de Daft Punk en 1999 pour "Outtakes”.Son premier single se distingue par un style Disco-House intense, rempli de boucles accrocheuses et de paroles mémorables dans "Cliffhanger", flirte avec la Techno dans "Quiet On Da Set", et évoque le classique "Music Sounds Better With You" dans "Take Number One (On & On)" ce second opus se prête au jeu de l’écoute continue, où chaque piste transitionne vers la suivante. Avec le support de têtes d’affiche de la disco-house moderne comme Barry Can’t Swim, Claptone, Dombresky, Duke Dumont, ainsi que BBC Radio 1, Tomorrowland, Fun Radio, etc., "B-Movie" confirme la recette 90s House de The Director, qu’il partage depuis peu sur Instagram sous “Taylorhythm”, réunissant plus de 60 000 fans de musique house et plusieurs millions de vues. "Outtakes" reste fidèle à son prédécesseur: un son puissant, une musicalité poussée, une sensibilité unique dans la house moderne, et une écoute accessible sans pour autant devenir mainstream.
