Worakls, N’to and Joachim Pastor mark the fifth anniversary of their Hungry Music label with Hungry 5 - an extended compilation, detailing the French collective's journey through melody.

The compilation also features a 2018 rework of N’to’s cult-classic cut, Trauma, including Worakls’ cherished rendition, as well as a new remix by Joachim Pastor.

Joachim Pastor comes back to his Hungry Music homebase with a brand new EP, which embodies once again so well the unique and well crafted Pastor touch.

"Eternity" is a dreamy piece built around a delicate xylophone theme. A heavy bassline, vibrant synth layers, and punchy hi-hats give depth and strength to the wide melodic aesthetic. The result is an hybrid banger that will never disappoint, whether you're at home or in a club.

Next up is the very ambitious and powerful "Millenium". Its main theme intricates perfectly with the more clubby elements of this techno anthem. As always, Joachim pulls off a perfect combination of sensitive synthesizers and catchy beats.

Joachim Pastor is back with yet another slice of essential electronic music magic. This time, after a crazy summer schedule of playing many wonderful, sold out shows, Joachim returns to his musical playground Hungry Music.

“Mountain” is the outstanding track he serves up, and it is a distinctive endeavour with gliding and slithery synths marching heavily alongside a floating groove. The drums are subtle and precise. Organ sounds are glued into the the arrangement to increase the intensity. The piece builds and morphs as it unfolds and locks you in over the course of a seven minute Hungry Music delight.

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

The digital version also features a bonus track; 'A Further Existence'.

Having previously released classic Hungry Music anthems such as Carrousel, La clé de champs, or Ayahuasca, here we see French music enthusiast, wide-ranging producer and impressive live performer N’to make his next mesmerizing offering entitled Croche.

Title track Croche starts off in perfect manner as N’to combines a melange of sleek, minimal drum patterns, deep growling bass and a kinetic, slow burning lead melody. As always, the frenchman manages to create a perfect balance of rhythms and emotions that will bring mayhem to nightclubs and festivals alike.
