Carrier presents Tender Spirits, the third turn on his eponymous series that explores his abstractions at its most sparse and cerebral.

Space maintains great purpose for Guy Brewer, having experimented with this previously for multiple drum-focused missives as Carrier. On his latest release, he treads deeper into the furthest regions of dub deconstruction, with Tender Spirits offering a serene path to the inbetween.

Across 8+ minutes, Light Candles, To Mark The Way moves towards the muted sublime; a gentle half time’d bliss that ebbs and floats across the enveloping mist. Slow Punctures gradually returns to dusk, eerily surveying the hollowed-out remains of its dub architecture with an off-kilter lurch. Carpathian echoes further in stark reduction, a weightless atonal zone anchored by the abstracted pressure suspended within.

Tender Spirits tracks Carrier at exciting new parallels, unfurling his most ascendant and capacious music to date.

Bait is set to release the debut EP, ‘Hepp’, from Leipzig producer Old Man Crane with four subterranean bass experimentations.
Marking the 16th release on the label since its inception in 2023, the connection between Old Man Crance and the label started via a DM with her demos and blossomed into a collaborative partnership including a spontaneous back-to-back with Beatrice M. at Bassmaessage last year. The ‘Hepp’ EP follows shortly on from Old Man Crane’s first appearance on Bait via the One Hundred and Fifty Steps compilation series and begins an exciting chapter for the emerging artist.

First up in the Dance Data Summer 12" Series: @fingersofgod, hailing from Vienna, Austria. 

Lens Shift is a meticulously sculpted slab of wax from F.O.G., made for Dance Data. A continuation of his distinctly sci-fi, brain-scrambling style — warped, psychedelic club tools engineered to melt dance floors (and maybe some neural pathways too).

Fingers Of God is the moniker of Vienna-based DJ & producer Philipp Pettauer. Releases on Reptant’s LKR Records, Paris-based Grid & Dance Data explore various sorts of energetic, club-oriented dance music. He has produced soundtracks for stage plays, contemporary dance & short movies, and is co-running Viennese event series Unfollow.

We first clocked the young but prolific producer via Da Capo Al Coda, a compilation from Paris-based Grid Records — and instantly knew there was more heat waiting.

Early teaser for A1 Redux is live now — a tense, bass-heavy electro hybrid built for those deep dive moments mid-set.

Fingers of God - Lens Shift EP (DDR008)

The single “Inertia” is the first glimpse into Signals from the Stars — Vietnamese Paris-based artist https://soundcloud.com/d-k-music’s upcoming EP, due mid-July on Midgar.

There’s something oddly comforting in the idea of a dead star still sending signals — distant, mechanical, yet somehow filled with meaning. Inertia taps into that contradiction: the sensation of being impossibly far from home, yet still drawn toward something vast, unseen, and filled with memory.
