Both originating from Basel Switzerland, experimental dance outlets Amenthia Recordings and A Walking Contradiction combine forces and present their first collaborative release. Both known for their dare-to-do-different approach and proudly presenting sounds that come from their inner circle of friends they compiled the Flash Crash / Hack Crash EP with exactly this mindset. From Agonis' heavy stepper to Konduku's whirlpool of low frequencies on the Amenthia side with Lemont continuing on this same low-end tripped-out tip to the slo-mo swamp sounds from Varuna representing A Walking Contradiction in typical fashion.

Sometimes, we have the tendency to run away from distress because we do not want to deal with the feeling of pain, but the first step in spiritual healing is overcoming the fears and recognizing the pain. The sooner you address the cause of your difficulty, the sooner you’ll get freedom from the pain. Be aware of your situation.
Once you have faced the source of anxiety, you need to acknowledge the pain. Feel your emotions and question what their sources are. Be honest about your feelings. In this stage, it is normal to feel like situations are beyond your control, which can transfer the feeling of hopelessness. However, by allowing yourself to feel rage, it becomes easier for your wounds to heal. Honor your feelings.
Honoring your pain will teach you self-forgiveness. You should be able to feel the kindness within you and experience all the love you have for yourself. You will feel a conflict between the instinct to heal on your own, and the desire to accept the situation and seek support to get healed. You prove that you have an unwavering determination to get healed by choosing the latter. When you want spiritual healing, you have to place your faith in the universe, too. 
Surrendering the pain means releasing the pain and seeking support from the universe. It will help you ease your sufferings.
The negative ego vanishes from within you and makes your heart feel lighter once you release your pain. This is a sign of spiritual wellness. You will start to feel a deep openness towards things and think with a peaceful mind. You will become whole again and you will develop the ability to deal with the disruptions of your life with tolerance. The inner peace will be restored. Feal.

First episode of time:stamps the year comes out with a bang as it includes a lovely guest from Berlin, mx.pinky (She/Her) with an all vinyl techno set recorded live in Lisbon. It comes with an additional hour by the host of the show, pink.wav.

A few words about mx.pinky :
mx.pinky is a German DJ and producer whose repertoire consists of genre-bending sonic seduction. With standout performances at Transtronica Festival Hamburg, Outra Cena Lisboa, OHM Berlin, RADAR Reykjavík, Body Language and Lunchbox Candy, mx.pinky has emerged as a rising international talent from Berlin’s vibrant nightlife. She’s been interviewed on KEXP Seattle for her work as the co-founder of trans* art collective @exude___. 

Known for her sensual selection, hypnotic blends and serving dancefloor exhilaration, mx.pinky's DJ sets radiate an old school nostalgia through a fresh and contemporary lens. With over 10 years honing her craft and cultivating her vinyl collection, her expansive range extends from techno to bass, breaks, electro, house and beyond. 

mx.pinky’s distinctive productions are percussive and bass-driven, influenced by her youth playing in metal bands. Her latest tracks include "Riot" on the Moss On A Stone compilation featuring JakoJako, Sepehr and more, as well as "Want Me" released on La Casita Berlin’s Pink Star 01. Unmatched, luscious and fearless - mx.pinky carves out space for a style all her own.

As most of us now live in a world saturated with information, this album feels like a reflection of how the modern world might sound if it were to process its own chaos through a unified scream. Hailing from the highlands of Bandung, West Java, a city where tradition and modernization intertwine in the rhythm of daily life, Xin Lie unpretentiously translates this cultural fusion into a sonically rich and rhythmically bold debut LP.

The artist’s roots in the hardcore and punk scenes reverberate throughout the album, though they’ve been reshaped and refined for the club. There’s an undeniable pleasure in experiencing the chaos Xin Lie channels—irregular beats, dynamic frequencies, and disjointed grooves collide and expand, each track laced with a sense of unpredictable energy. Yet even in its most chaotic moments, the music feels deliberate, its edges softened by a sense of compositional care.

The album reveals a strange duality: tracks that seem to beckon you to the dance floor but never quite let you settle there. Frequencies flicker and fluctuate in patterns that feel just slightly off-grid, as though resisting traditional structures. Yet, amidst the digital textures, Xin Lie weaves in organic sounds—snippets of native conversations or environmental noise—creating layers that feel both intimate and expansive.It’s fair to say this album extends far beyond the boundaries of today’s club music.

Picture this: you’re moving through your daily routines—mundane, repetitive—and suddenly, the music shifts your perspective. It reframes the ordinary as something surreal, as though it’s deconstructing itself in real-time, breaking into fragments or conjuring entirely new forms. Perhaps it’s best imagined as the soundtrack to a multi-sensory art installation or a performance staged not in a gallery but in an unassuming house down your street. Who’s to say where it might take you?
