Vessels of Chaos is a musical tale - an ode to change and reconfiguration. Set in a crumbling lorescape, it explores primitive forms of collective organizations rooted in material reality and its associated imperfections.

It takes the form of a double EP, released on MONTAGE and Over My Body.

Both EPs explore different directions with similar structures. Seen as complementary, they explore the use of voice and organic noises as source material to craft hypnotizing soundscapes and cathartic rhythms. Infused with paleofuturist imagery, they imagine new forms of communities, beliefs, rituals and worships - cherishing communion, shifting perspectives and internal transformations as ways to situate ourselves in the emptiness of existence.

Celestial Tears blends shimmering textures with vast soundscapes, distilled with ethereal winds, heart-felt melodies, and astral cries - for a blisscore contemplation of serenity to be found in impermanence and infinity.

Mercurial Blood combines muddy subs with cavernous vocals, mutilated by fractured beats, rough textures and crystalline hits - for an abrasive harshclub exploration of friction as an integral part of dynamic change.

Vessels of Chaos marks Griigg's second solo release after Action Replay (TAR, 2018) and is to be taken as the direct continuation of Interbeings (Club Late Music, 2019).

It embodies the conclusion of a years-long change in his creative process for something much more raw and spontaneous, to lay new foundations for his lore and practice. As a convergence point between his previous works, it explores ways to be with the world by crafting abstract landscapes and immersive tales - seeking the sublime in chaos.

ASCHE is a Berlin-based DJ and producer. Their mixes and productions focus on sounds derivative of Baile Funk, Deconstructed Club, Gabber, and trap music. The focal point of ASCHE's productions are music to dance and do drugs to, manifesting in practice as an array of classic sounds through a new, recontextualised lens. ASCHE’s mixes are the meeting point of two worlds; accessible club music and the next evolution of electronic dance music. Outside of their individual work, ASCHE also assists with creative direction and event organisation within various Berlin collectives.

For this mix, ASCHE has curated a selection of club sounds to release to. Featuring a blend of trap, baile funk, deconstructed club and their work, this mix feels like a key bump in a stall with your best friends and a few new strangers.

∎ Griigg is a Paris-based artist exploring the interactions between space, image, and sound and their ability to craft powerful narratives and imaginaries. Since 2018, he has also co-run the @club-late-music x @globalurlnation, an open-source and collaborative label/community that gathers worldwide artists to experiment with collective creation processes, organize releases, events, workshops, and more.

Brazil-born, Berlin-based alys(alys)alys explores the (un)common ground between experimental, club, and soundcloud music; crafting a dynamic approach to her own productions and eclectic DJ sets.
