'After first release in June, WARPP is back with next couple of masterpieces by Anton Borin (RU), Bondarev and special remix by one of the most talented artists in the world right now - Kasper Koman.

Anton Borin (RU): working as a resident DJ for the likes of BCSA, BC2 Records, Bevel, Clubsonica Records, Droid9 to name a few, Russian producer Anton Borin has experimented and found a loyal fan base through the years. Dabbling with anything from acid house, and fads of the electronic music scene, the producer would find solace in progressive house music.

Bondarev: After 15 years of DJing now he one of the fastest growing producers in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He has already won the attention of many respected DJs and producers from all over the world. His music is played from Russia to Argentina at a variety of venues from small clubs to big stadiums. Release "The Warpp" EP on Lowbit Records was in TOP100 Beatport almost 5 months and was supported by some of the most significant names in progressive electronic music scene'

'Argentinian producer Ric Niels makes his debut on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records with his beautiful track 'Walking In The Woods'. The song is a mix of ethereal synths, groovy bassline and tasty drums. The glorious vocals of Hydrah add a sumptuous aura to the music.

First on remix duty, we found Dmitry Molosh. The Belarusian DJ and producer is famous for his inimitable progressive sound and excellent taste in music. Dmitry represents his country far beyond its borders as one of the most forward-thinking electronic music artists in the world. Here, he created a huge progressive piece filled with trancy melodies and one of the most epic drop we heard in a long time.

Also rising out of Argentina's electronic underground are the elusive duo Analog Jungs. Made up of Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte, Analog Jungs was born out of a love for rhythm, groove and melody. The duo is back on the label after their successful release of 'Landscape' with Oliver & Tom last year.

To close out the package, there's an instrumental version of 'Walking In The Woods' for the DJs uneasy with vocals.

Hicky & Kalo say: 'Super happy to welcome Ric Niels on our label. We are fan of his music, we played many of his tracks over the last few years. 'For our 58th release on Juicebox Music, we welcome back Alan Cerra from Argentina with a 2-track EP featuring "Henkere" & "Arrival". Having made his debut appearance on our imprint's "Fables" series with his track "Caravan", the Santa Cruz based artist has been relentlessly churning out stunners on well respected labels such as Roger Martinez's 'Higher States', Miss Monique's 'Siona', Armen Miran's 'Hoomidaas', Framewerk's 'Capital Heaven' as well as Mike Koglin & MoodFreak's 'YOMO' to name a few. Armed with a plethora of melodies & driving grooves, Alan Cerra plays to his strengths to deliver "Henkere" & "Arrival", themed around a more gnarly & mysterious undertone with hints of euphoria trickling in at the right moments.

To remix Alan Cerra's "Henkere", we called in one of our label residents whose expertise has been delivering twisted monsters. Meet Aman Anand, a Singapore-based Indian-native that's been pushing the boundaries of psychedelic & tech influenced progressive house for the past few years. Aman Anand's recent solo & collaborative work can be found on Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', Mango's 'Mango Alley' & Jelly For The Babies 'One of a Kind'. His recent associations with our label include his remix of Jiminy Hop's "Tension" as well as the club-smashing collaborative single with label-boss Praveen Achary titled "Fiasco". For his latest contribution, Aman Anand takes Alan Cerra's "Henkere" into deep-space territory with effects & sound-design inspired by the intergalactic cosmos coupled with a fierce groove.

Making his debut appearance on our imprint is Caledonia-based Canadian artist - Dowden. A stalwart with his craft, Dowden's style can range from high octane gritty progressive to enchanting deep hymns, all with a subtle tone of darkness & mystery. With his recent music being released on Integral Bread's 'Univack', Juan Pablo Torres' 'Clubsonica', Tim Penner's 'Slideways', D-Formation's 'Beatfreak Limited' & Soul Button's 'Steyoyoke', Dowden has set his sight firmly on an upward trajectory. For his remix of Alan Cerra's "Arrival", Dowden takes the more deeper, atmospheric & hypnotic route showcasing the forgotten-but-vital art of building tension over time.'

Opening the month of August, Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Hobin Rude to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Serbia, Hobin Rude first emerged in 2020 with a remix for Jelly For The Babies One Of A Kind imprint. His progressive sounds quickly found favour with the genre's premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, eventually leading to releases via Beat Boutique, Dopamine White, Hoomidaas and Sound Avenue. Also an established DJ, the Belgrade resident has the distinction of performing with elite international talentsGuy J, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Guy J, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Volen Sentir and more. Now on the strength of forthcoming projects via The Soundgarden and Plattenbank, Hobin adds Movement Recordings to his resume with 'It Was and It Will', alongside remixes from DJ Ruby and Kyotto.

Drawing on a variety of smooth rhythmic concepts, the EP begins with the title selection. On a backbone of warm beats comes mounds of perfectly contoured bass and a lively percussive cadence. Fluid and buoyant in equal measure, an evolving atmospheric haze encases the framework, as mysterious vocal fragments and effervescent effects unite in a perfect sonic marriage. The narrative continues to evolve across the main break, with buzzing sonics and sheets of white noise gently rising alongside percolating motifs, as the beats drop for a spirited finale. The companion piece 'Umbra' proves to be a worthy complement with its deep, driving energy. Muscular beats power the undulating groove, while percolating effects and timely vocal choirs add depth, space and emotion. Continuing to evolve as the main break commences, clustered arps flow through tasteful modulation amidst a haze of swirling atmospherics and colourful effects, eventually melting down into a thunderous drop and soaring finale.

Providing the first interpretation of 'It Was and It Will' is DJ Ruby who makes his label debut. As Malta's premiere progressive house DJ, Ruby has an ever-growing fanbase that stretches far beyond the island's party scene. Beloved for his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills, Ruby is also an accomplished producer with releases via Droid9, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley and SLC-6 Music. Now, on the strength of a remix for Kamilo Sanclemente and Transensations, Ruby makes his Movement Recordings debut with a powerful rendition of 'It Was and It Will'. Taking a cue from the original while adding a deeper state of mind, the Maltese artist carves out a warm, chunky groove adorned with flickering percussive arrangements and arcane vocal gates. Astral effects continue to advance the journey, creating a colourful canopy along the way, while a cavernous break resets the framework for a dark, hip swinging finale

Remixing Through The Endemic – a remix version of the label's previous compilation – Navigating Through The Pandemic - is finally seeing the light of day on Fri 02 June! This long overdue remix comp features a stellar cast of South East Asian producers, both veterans and up-and-coming talents alike, with remixes from Aldrin (Singapore), Alinep (Manila); Aman Anand (Bangalore); DOTT (Bangkok), Indra7 (Jakarta); KONKRETE (Saigon); Kuma (Kuala Lumpur); Sarayu (Bangkok).

'Juicebox Music's 68th release welcomes Anton Borin & Montw to the fold for their debut appearance with a 2-track EP featuring "Obsidian" & "Firebird". Kick-starting their collaboration fairly recently, the Moscow (Russia) based duo found a sweet spot to combine their styles. With individual releases on Mango's 'Mango Alley' & Bondarev's 'WARPP' to name a few, Anton Borin & Montw's hypnotic, melodic & groovy music has become a staple amongst many tastemakers & fans alike. Their latest offering is a pair of juxtaposed singles to showcase their creative sides; "Obsidian" features a strong drive leading up to a soulful melody only to be peaked by a contrasting twist in it's final phase while "Firebird" sees them focusing primarily on the development of a strong groove accompanied by a earworm riff, perfect for darker rooms.

For the first remix, we're excited to welcome back Fabri Lopez to the label. The Villa Mercedes native from Argentina first made his debut on Juicebox Music through his powerful & euphoric remix of Bachir Salloum's "Of Time and Space" in early 2021. Since then, he's made strides with releases on Armen Miran's 'Hoomidaas' & Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' and now for his return, Fabri Lopez reworks Anton Borin & Montw's "Obsidian" into a monster with a more darker & heavier approach.

Closing the pack is one of the label's core-artists, Bangalore (India) based Aman Anand. His journey with the imprint stretches far with so many significant releases with the latest being his collaboration with label-owner Praveen Achary on "Fiasco". Exploring through experimentation, Aman pursues an evolution in his sound with refinement & out-of-the-box sound-design as his key priorities. He takes on Anton Borin & Montw's "Firebird" with the same goal, injecting his signature groove and cleverly warping & contorting the original hook to deliver a memorable moment.'

The latest release from D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music finds label manager Dr Green collaborating with fellow countryman Gru V for a new single. This Sri Lankan duo have become household names in the progressive house scene through releases via BCSA, Droid9, Movement Recordings and Wander Nation. Having both appeared on SLC-6 multiple times in the past and in collaboration on 2023's 'Atman', Dr Green and Gru V now combine their forces once again on 'Satya', alongside remixes from Aman Anand, ISMAIL.M and Dylan Deck & D.J. MacIntyre. The original mix sets the tone for the release, bringing the best production hallmarks of both artists, as they craft an emotive slice of progressive house. The duo's melodic craftsmanship is on full display with a gorgeous trance-inducing lead and siren-like wails blanketing a forest of clattering percussion, tough kick drums and driving grooves. Fresh off releases for Juicebox Music and WARPP, Indian artist and label debutant Aman Anand brings a lighter, more spacious take on the track, keeping it's melodic spirit alive, while a modern, club-effective groove keeps the focus firmly on the dancefloor. Returning to the label for his fourth appearance is Bulgarian artist ISMAIL.M who brings a harder cross-cultural vibe to the track, one which not only shows his high level of production, but is perfect for those peak hour slots or festival gigs. Rounding out the release is Maltese artist Dylan Deck and SLC-6 label boss D.J. MacIntyre who present their first ever collaboration with great results. With an uptempo feel, this cross-continental duo crafts a version full of rejuvenating energies and trance-inspired lines, a perfect interpretation to close out another well-rounded, hard hitting offering from SLC-6 Music.

Deersky’s Soundteller Records gets 2020 underway by welcoming NAHS to the label with ‘Birds in Mount Zion’. Having made his production debut just two weeks ago with a contribution to Flug Lab’s ‘Sunset Dreaming’ compilation, the Buenos Aries resident now presents his first single alongside remixes from Fabri Lopez and Matias Chilano.

Beginning with the original mix we find NAHS crafting a deeper progressive sound. Anchored by a shapely groove and nice percussive details, it’s waves of wispy atmospherics and tranquil arps that begin to advance the narrative. Ghostly vocal wails then descend over the framework as layers of percussion continue to build. The bird motifs rise to prominence during the main break before segueing into a catchy arp and drummy roll, perfectly shifting energy into a driving finale.

One of 2019’s fasting rising progressive house artists was undoubted Fabri Lopez. Continued support from Hernan Cattaneo along with releases on Balkan Connection, Clubsonica Records and Dreamers made for a memorable year. Now making his first appearance on Soundteller, the Villa Mercedes resident delivers a superb rendition of ‘Birds in Mount Zion’. Dynamic and punchy from the outset, it’s tough groove carries a driving presence before electric designs, heavenly atmospheres and waves of percussion fill in the framework. Expertly executed, the one minute interlude proves impactful, resonating with fragmented bird chirps and spacey overlays, elevating the mood before a tepid rush sets up a powerful drop and huge finale. Big remix from Fabri.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation is Matias Chilano. Long a member of the Soundteller family, the Argentinean artist would have to be considered a veteran of the progressive house underground at this point. 2019 was filled with more great moments, including releases for Balkan Connection South America, Movement Recordings, Proton Music and contributions to Patrice Baumel’s Berlin Global Underground. Now returning to Soundteller for his 14th appearance, Matias turns in a groovy rendition of ‘Birds in Mount Zion’. Anchored by a warm, nicely contoured groove there’s a smooth and effortless vibe from the outset. As drifting atmospheres descend over the framework, sweeping effects and tranquil motifs further tantalize the senses. Frayed percussion and a less distinct take on the vocal continue to build the narrative before a spaced out break and astral finale bring you one step closer to the cosmos. Brilliant stuff from Matias which caps off a great Soundteller release with all three artists involved getting the new year off to a great start. Highly recommended.

From Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean coast Golan Zocher & Choopie cross cultural and music boundaries with “Sayonara”. A strong, hypnotic beat and urgent percussion capture the image of stark Bauhaus architecture while a pitched synth lead bends its will to the rhythm of the city. Pulsating energy caught in a confluence of aural ideas and arpeggiated order create a sonic superhighway. Argentinean flair once again makes its present felt from the huge sprawling Buenos Aries province. Out of the Baltic coast, the grand and beautiful architecture of St. Petersburg find their parallel as Ewan Rill & K Loveski say “Sayonara” one more time. Smooth melodic patterns ripple in shimmering sonic shapes where layer upon stratified layer create a new sonic identity rooted in Israel.
