"For our final release of this sizzling (European) summer we are very pleased to welcome Portuguese duo Ramboiage X C4STRO. 

Both long standing Djs and muso’s from the Lisbon scene, Vitor Ramboiage was Artistic Director at Brunch Electronik Festival and a long time resident at one of the city’s most famous clubs Lux Fragil, amongst many others. Whilst Antonio Castro applies his dj trade in the more underground House scene of Lisbon and is co founder of Oasis Records.

A common love of music has drawn these two artists together and their combined musical influences can be heard throughout this delightful EP. 

Kicking it off with two peak time bass heavy dance floor cuts, these tracks have already been tearing it up on Lisbon dance floors over the last few months. 

We're also happy to have enlisted some of our favourite producers to add their touches with label fav Gus Paterson delivering two fantastic euphoric end of night versions of ‘Do It Like That’ and MFSP’s very own Pete Herbert bringing some of his quality Cosmic Discoid House flavours to “Need You’"

French DJ and producer ANMA is back at Polyptych but on the Noir side this time. After more than 4 years, he returns to us with his new full-length release 'Abelio.' 

Having visited such brands as ICONYC, Dear Deer, Lowbit, and others during this time, he decided to shift the focus from bright melodic sound to peak time techno drive, without forgetting about the signature emotional and exciting component, which he successfully demonstrated in both original tracks of the new release. 

The release was supported by remixes from the Spanish duo Astatum, already familiar to Polyptych fans, who gave the release their techno interpretation of the original track, as well as a new collaboration of Tech House talent DJ and producer Jax D and label owner Michon with their variation at the junction of house groove and catchy melodic elements.

After having released on AEON and Roam Recordings, Franz Matthews returns home on his HIFI/LOFI imprint by releasing his Symmetric Dance EP, showing us once more how the producer likes to play with the codes of House, Space Disco, and Indie Dance by intertwining them and turning them into his very own secret sauce.

The trip starts with the eponymous Symmetric Dance, where a faster-than-usual Franz brings us into the groove with a deep bass line supporting the words of a sort of musical guru, leading you (yes, you.) progressively into the ecstatic moment of the Symmetric Dance, here materialised by a catchy house-y piano part that later exploses into a festival of notes before coming back to an infamous rhythm that we dare you not to dance to. Does it feel like summer ? Yes, probably.

Moving on to Zero Gravity, we step into a fast-paced ride of cosmic synth escapades that take our vehicle on a full throttle run until it has left the launching ramp and floats into mid-air, not really knowing when or where it will land. But, just as you finished catching your breath again, you land back on earth, full speed, and navigate in the middle of another asteroid galaxy tour, taking a few Machs along the way until it is time for the next bump. Will you land back on your feet this time ? Yes, probably.

Closing the cosmic ride, the slower ‘Herbie Crashed The Party’ is a progressive burner constructed around a centre ARP2600 synth line evolving throughout the whole track and being joined by funky guitars, heady synth ornementations, and a stabby brass ensemble that opens up the door to what seems to be the ghost of an unusual guest as the party goes on, which makes us wonder if it was a good idea to let Herbie Hancock in at the party ? And again we will answer : Yes, probably.
