TÂCHES needs no introduction to the XYZ faithful. He’s one of the best remixers in the game, and we think we have one of his finest ever works on hand with his take on Parlante. Harnessing the psychedelic nature of the original’s tripped out chops, he brings his own touch of  vocal delight while adding a simply irresistible groove to form the backbone of a magical tune. Chart-topping LA duo Haddadi Von Engst return with another hellfire release that includes another A-lister on the remix. ‘Til The End’ is the most epic and memorable melodic techno EP from HVE to date. For this masterpiece, the classically trained production-wizards set a melancholic atmosphere with gorgeous arp work and dramatic loose keys. Dreamy vocals from San Francisco group Phonic Youth perfectly match the mood. The track gains momentum through uplifting melodies and drops that contrast the wistful lyrics to provide a strong sense of perseverance “-‘til the end”.

For the remix, iconic dance music duo Super Flu do the impossible and rework this production into something equally special. Their more playful, twisted, drum-driven version, which sits effortlessly between afro house, latin rhythm, and melodic techno, is ready to tickle and tease the dancefloor into evolving madness. Nick Devon's most recent EP, 'Adrasteia', sends sounds of spatial seductiveness through speakers. This four track EP includes title track Adrasteia, Glacier, Devotion, and Sunflower.

'Adrasteia' contains flirtatious melodies which twinkle brightly by contrast against the dark, deep chords. An entire solar system on it's own, 'Adrasteia' is a new experience altogether. Inducing inspiration through this spacey track, Nick Devon pushes his ability to ingeniously craft beauty into sound.

'Glacier', a track fitting it's name, contains a subtle, siren-like sound accompanied by a tangle of percussions that create a sense of constant growth. Swelling ever bigger, larger, and more intense, this is a 'Glacier' you wouldn't wish to avoid on your journey.

Moving further into this musical journey, 'Devotion' plays on Nick Devon's ability to hit hard while softly caressing the atmosphere set around this EP. 'Devotion' is a perfect harmonization of different styles of techno, making it without a doubt, one of the most unique productions on this EP.

Finally, 'Sunflower' closes the EP through both an insanely emotional collection of sounds, as well as a sophisticated arrangement. 'Sunflower', perfectly matching it's title, turns happily to the lighter, more captivating sounds, while remaining firm in it's core and bass line. 

One not to be ignored or forgotten, Nick Devon consistently conveys his mastery at sound design through multiple arrangements and styles, all the while keeping his own touches consistent.

"Released at the end of 2018, the first in Erdi Irmak's "Hidden Arcadia" showcased a quartet of sparkling original productions. As Proton Music returns to the series, "Hidden Arcadia, Vol. 2" combines a trio of new tracks with stunning remixes from German and Greek artists.

An artist with a strong tie to Proton Music saw July 2014's "You in Me" EP lighting a path for "Night" a year later, before "Hidden Arcadia" shot Erdi Irmak to global notoriety in 2018. Now continuing the successful series, "Falling down" immediately delights as a stripped-back beat and rich bass paves the way for a glissando lead line to wend its way across the mid-range. [...]

A talented multi-instrumentalist and music producer of global renown, Rauschhaus has found his music allied to some of the finest underground dance imprints that include Steyoyoke, Einmusika and Traum. October 2018's "Opal" saw a sparkling original debut on Proton Music as the German artist follows up on a rerub of Michael A with another remix for the label.
Holding its audio cues from "Vol. 1", the Rauschhaus remix takes "Owl" on a new flight of fantasy that explores original components while extending them with a plethora of additional production material. A new sustained analogue bassline gradually opens up in the second half, adding to the cadenced motif already in place and a rich arpeggio supplies a new hypnotic narrative. The result is an innovative remix with the beating heart of Erdi Irmak's "Owl".

Born in the US house music capital, Savvas' move from Chicago to Greece has seen him carve out an impressive career as DJ and producer. His music signed to such leading imprints as Anjunadeep, Nie Wider Schlafen and Motek Music, a trio of appearances on Particles including the beautiful "Mindfulness" on the "Winter 2019" compilation, now sees him join the Proton Music ranks. .
