Natascha Polké's "Burning Out" EP is the follow-up release to "Stars Wrapped In Skin". It ties in seamlessly, bringing back the haunting qualities, fragile textures and driving beats the artist is known for. Whilst glistening in melancholy, the songs on this second release are just as upbeat and danceable. A release demanding to be played at hazy summer get-togethers as it gets late and we get lost in the rhythm of the night.

It kicks off with "Burning Out", a spheric track where organic sounds meet disarmingly intimate vocals. A soundscape that keeps building and falling like gushing waves. Nostalgic call and response movements carry us into the unknown of our inner universe with an irresistible groove, much like our own heartbeat, leading the way.

Next up: "Wildfire". A track with an atmosphere that lures you in and plays with your mind, teasing with enticing percussion and warped synths before making way for stunningly performed vocals. It fuses classic techno feel with contemporary aesthetics. Melody lines floating over a relentless groove guiding us straight into a dreamy soundscape. You can't help but dive in and it feels so good.

Launching straight into the breakbeat percussion and uncompromising synth line, Defintion's remix of "Burning Out" enters the room like it's here to stay. The producer blends rough rawness with fragility, ties in thunder-like build-ups with intricate vocals and metallic synth stabs, harsh like blades. A remix that lives to be blasted in clubs and will easily demolish dance floors all over the world. This track is unrelenting, and you don't want it to stop.

The second remix stems from Night Talk. He's created a slow burner, a tune that keeps on building, where he skilfully controls the releases of energy, and places it exactly where and when it's needed. This remix is minimalistic and almost hypnotic in its darkside vibes.

New Zealand based Donna-Marie makes her return on Manual Music's MNL label with two powerful and uplifting progressive house cuts.

It's hard to imagine she only entered the scene two years ago, as by now she's got a big output of releases under her belt on well respected labels such as Perfecto Black, Freegrant Music and Flow Vinyl to name a few - and appeared on compilations on Black Hole Recordings and Cold Harbour Recordings for instance.

'Who We Are' marks her return on MNL after having made her label debut last year with the 'Reflection' single which also included 'Mad Mondays, one of her most populair songs to date.

Black Rose's twentysecond release comes from the Russian talent Malov. In the whole releases you can immediately feel the energy coming from the groove. In "Red Orchestra" the brass lead will drive you to an outstanding drop full of fx and groove. In "Electricity" as the title suggests the sound design feels very electric and energetic impossible not to dance. And the last one is "On Fire" with the amazing vocals from "Sandhaus", in this track the energy is always high but with a more melodic and spiritual transcending feeling.

PREMIERE: Malov Feat. Sandhaus - On Fire (Original Mix) [Black Rose]

Two fresh interpretations for Kamilo Sanclemente's trademark single 'Dew' which was released last year.

Industry veterans Weekend Heroes are on fire lately with a continuous output of very big releases. They've just topped the Beatport progressive house chart with their single 'Upside Down' whilst their other singles 'Lucid', 'Brightlight' and 'Dragonfly' and 'Off Limit' also moved quite a few crowds to say the least. They deliver a proper peak time melodic progressive house rework here, top shelve stuff!

On the flipside we welcome on board Ceci for his Manual Music debut. The Italian producer provides a nice contrast to the ruggedness of the other remix, going for a more laid back approach. Lovely organic instruments and flowing airy soundscapes make this a true dreamer.

Two strong remixes that certainly do Kamilo's original justice.
