Cid Inc’s Replug Records opens their 2024 season by welcoming Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a new EP.

Based in Belarus, Dmitry Molosh has been at the cutting edge of electronic music for the better part of a decade. Comparable to the path of his contemporaries, Dmitry has found a way to successfully marry classic and contemporary progressive house, resulting in an aesthetic that is not only club-effective but also dramatic and emotive. 

Rounding out the release are the hypnotic qualities of ‘Sail’, a track where Dmitry balances the loud-soft dynamics which seem to work so well on the dancefloor. Superficially, it might come across as a classic chunk of Molosh bombast, but it exists in a different sonic world, as multiple layers of rebounding rhythms, stirring chord changes and arpeggiated sequences get woven around a core of beefy grooves and cleverly coaxed atmospheric swells. The break’s beginnings hold that strong cadence, eventually melting down to a shapeshifting narrative, one where hyperbolic arps deliver a finale that is both wonderfully warped and incredibly groovy. A fitting conclusion to what is another unique look into Dmitry’s repertoire, and the infectious progressive sound he has built his career on.

Eleven years have passed since Hernan Cattaneo, in collaboration with Guy Mantzur, released the Delayed Green exclusively on PlattenBank Records. The wait has been worthwhile. Hernan Cattaneo, a revered figure in underground dance music, is known for his sold-out shows, impeccable music selection, and humble, almost spiritual demeanor. Unconcerned with fame, Cattaneo is dedicated solely to sound.
This commitment is evident in his latest release, featuring the title piece Tranquilo, along with remixes by remix competition winners Adrien (AR) and Franco Giannoni. True to its name, the title track exudes a carefree and peaceful vibe, perfect for summer atmospheres. Characterized by a breakbeat rhythm and emotional bliss throughout the arrangement, it culminates in the third act. In contrast, the remixes adopt a classic four-on-the-floor rhythm, each adding unique elements while preserving the essence of the original. To close the year, we are gifting the labels followers with a very strong Zenebona showcase. The original track Svadhishthana, created during the successful Chakra Boogie event series, was inspired by the creative chakra point. Once again, Peter Makto expands his musical catalog with a unique sound that cannot be categorized compared to his other tracks. The EP also includes remixes by the Zenebona titans Matthew Sona and Liozen. Both remixes were made in the signature style of these two young talents. These three tracks form a very strong unit. Each track is prime-time and DJ-friendly, safe to play at parties. Thank you for your support in 2024, and we promise to bring the same high or even better high quality music in 2025!
