Elternhouse and Theus release their new single P.B.Y.R. with exclusive Das Kapital and Ekoboy Remixes.

NUREMBERG, GERMANY.   Production duo Elternhouse have teamed up with 20 year old Tim Fügl, aka Theus, for their new single P.B.Y.R. on Elternhouse’s own We Are Freaks imprint.

Focusing on their instinctive Tech House dirty grooves, something which has dominated both acts’ individual productions to date, this track follows up previous releases on Dirtybird, My Techno Weighs A Ton and Dtuned.

Elternhouse takes up the story:

“We met with Theus on a hot summer day in the studio and we just recorded crazy & weird sounds with the synth. Combined with an 808 drum beat the basic structure was created. 
But we still needed vocals?! simple, trippy and catchy. Caught in this flow this line came to my mind: Pink, Black, Yellow gonna make you sweat"

Theus: “Yeah, those were crazy hours. And this is the result of searing heat and passion.”

Where do we even begin with This Culture? Is it their incredible character? Is it that they just radiate love and good energy? Or is it the fact that everything the duo touches turns to literal gold!?

Well one things for sure, we just can't seem to get enough of em, and lucky for us (and you) we've got a lot of them! A whole 3 tracks worth actually! Bringing these outstanding gentlemen to Hood Politics has been a real dream come true and we couldn't be happier to be welcoming these lads to the label with what we feel is their best work yet.

Their massive "Hot & Bothered" EP is a sweltering selection of 3 top tier tech house anthems that fully embody the high energy magic we strive for on the label. Again, we are met with another project that completely raises the bar for us again moving forward. I'd sit here and try and describe the tracks for you, but this is a project you just need to dive headfirst into and feel for yourself.

Premiere: Dylan Coss, B&E,  - Pandemic [Rock Bottom Records]

The Bones to Pick series has become a proving ground for up and coming artists in a crowded tech-house scene. Each volume has hit the Beatport top 100 releases. And with support from the likes of Black V Neck, CODES, Reid Speed, Tommie Sunshine, Two Tails, and Foolie it's clear that a tight-knit community of respected artists agrees that Groovy Bone is killing it.

Bones to Pick, Vol. 4 introduces a fresh crop of dynamic artists to the family. Las Vegas' Kraffti makes his Groovy Bone debut with 'Bodies Rushing.' Featuring the slinky vocals of Foreignoor which stand out amongst the track's shimmering synth work and rolling bass-line. An ICON collective grad, the relative new-comer has already shown great promise picking up support from Alison Wonderland and Zeds Dead.

Kyle Zuck is also new to Groove Bone but comes to us with a well-established catalog of club thumpers on labels like WyldCard, Nite Records, and MTWAT. 'The Way,' is a perfect example of his bouncy meets dirty style. A jackin' drumline is balanced with a stanky elastic bass and a chunky bundle of greasy synths.

Canada's Stackhouse makes his return to Groovy Bone on 'The Gift.' A stark and moody number, Stackhouse has put together something truly unique. Dark and tribal, the song floats through an ever-evolving bed of undulating synths and rave stabs. He's crafted something equally spooky and dance-floor rocking.

Multi-talented Seattle artist Lowsh is yet another new-comer to the label. He's set himself apart from other artists with his innovative live vs. DJ sets that incorporate vocals, synths, and drum machines into an already high energy playlist. 'Boom' is a classic tech-house cut with a warm and so fresh, so clean low end that envelopes the speakers.

Hometown homeboy Whenuknow drops a wonderfully quirky number called 'Higher.' While the bass-line is what drives this one, the beautifully weird synths and funky drum fills are what make it so much fun.

And rounding out the release is Johnny 2 Shots who flexes his muscle on the naughty 'OTD.' This one is dirty in more ways than one. A bouncing almost breaksy drum beat supports an onslaught of twerking vocal snippets that are lovingly NSFW.

The Space Taco front-man is the king of peak hour, his productions and mixing style together have solidified his reputation as such.  Undoubtedly he has an aesthetic that carries this semblance naturally, like this 'rough around the edges' sort of grit you would expect from your bad-ass-party-animal-of-an-uncle.  Thing is, Dylan is just about as approachable as they come, readily dispelling common misconceptions with his calm demeanor, infectious laugh, and sense of humor.  Hes a DJ's DJ as they say.  When this artist walks up on the booth, you can't help but smile, you already know that the energy is going to be raised through the roof, and that packed dance floor is going to bust from the seams.  Should have ordered that drink huh? Dylan Coss is known for playing that High Energy, Heavy Tech House that many underground artists tend to avoid, but honestly, Dylan owns it.  It just works - the guy is wickedly entertaining to watch, he connects with his audience, tapping in to this raw and endless energy that the crowd feeds on.

Aside from being an absolute master in the booth, he is a gifted musician - creating the same type of music he spins at his shows, proving he can do more than just put his money where his mouth his.  His first two collabs on SPOON FED RECORDS with fellow co-founder Seek-One 'Donut" & 'Monster' are - to this day - two of the most popular songs out of the label, helping elevate both BIG BITES Vol.1 & Little Bites Vol.1 to the top of the charts across Beatport.  His most popular track and one of his labels most anticipated releases, 'Club Problems' truly encapsulates what Dylan Coss' "sound" is all about.  Its jam packed with dark and heavy bass, a high energy and hypnotic groove, original vocalizations, and satisfying drops.  He will lay this out at any party with an expectant gang of attendees singing along joyfully.  Dylan is moving into 2020 very nicely with a successful remix/release on Rock Bottom Records Suave EP and a multitude of hot new originals on their way out to key Record Labels.
