A new artist on Toy Tonics. Coming from the Italian bunch around Black Loops and Ricardo Baez: Andrea Pedra is a 100% analogue instrument and music nerd. Living in the middle of Chianti hills in the little, but ultra beautiful city called Monteriggioni - where the good red wines come from. Dedicating 100% of his time to music. Producing tracks in his analogue studio or throwing parties that are famous all over Tuscany in an old jazz club cavern. A good place to listen to dirty, organic house and disco tracks. His tracks are nasty, soulish, organic sounding house bombs. 

Some words by Andrea: "Army of Me is my solo project that shows my love for the real black deep house - and also for space jazz and old funky disco. Tanglin' with analog synths and MPC, living out of the box, playing and recording. 
I like to build things up on hardware, modern production and heavy sampling from delicious records of the past, everything for your pleasure. I also run a Synth Nerd meeting, get over it!
Had a couple of EPs under the another alias on Lost My Dog."

The Belfast based DJ & producer, Garry McCartney, otherwise known as EJECA, has been steadily and consistently building his sound and profile over time, through a series of impressive releases for Aus Music, Unknown To The Unknown, W&O Street Tracks, BPitch Control and Last Night On Earth, amongst others.  

‘The Crystal Maze’ EP is EJECA’s latest offering for Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two label, and comes backed with a rave rollicking Special Request remix.

EJECA carves out an energetic slab of audacious party house on ‘Unloving’, resplendent with rolling beats and stabby chords, and topped off with dramatic strings and vocal chops.  Paul Woolford dons his Special Request guise for the remix; skippy breakbeats, spinbacks, plenty of horns and a thunderous bottom end that is sure to devastate any speaker stack when this one drops!

Elsewhere on the EP, EJECA unleashes some 303 bassline action and dark vocals on ‘Standard Acid House Track’, which thankfully rises well above anything standard!  And on ‘Crystal Maze’, EJECA harks back to the darker dance energies that were a staple of the late 1980s UK acid house boom.  Wrapping up the EP, ‘ISWHATIS’ gets ever so slightly twisted with an orbiting synth hook and weighty stabs over a spirited rhythm section.

'Montreal's very own Fabrikate are set to release their disco infused "Made Me Feel" album this fall out on Kookoo Records, taking a trip back in time to the 70s where platform shoes, elaborate outfits, glitter and that four-to-the-floor sound dominated night clubs all over North America. The duo have curated their interpretation of what disco means to them, by merging their house music and disco influences into what feels to be their own unique powerful sound. Having both grown up in musical households with parents who immersed them into disco music, it naturally became their calling to reimagine the nostalgic sounds of the soundtracks of their childhoods into Avantgarde dance music. 

'Love Was Real' will be the first single off the album out on November 1! We now present to you Fabrikate's 'Made Me Feel' album - which brings all the elements of funk, soul and house music together.  

Kicking off the album is 'It's Coming Down' with its eccentric disco intro, which drops into a heavy baseline ready to permeate the dance floor, 'Into The Ground'  is a booty shaker with its hard hitting bass and intricate tech-house elements, 'Love Was Real' shouts all things 70s with its high energy, trumpets, and luscious orchestral arrangements, 'On and On' executes with its high-hats and a strong escapist vocalist on the record, 'Flame' has all the retro attributes of the disco days with groovy funky reverb vocals...

'All Up To Love' is hypnotic and infused with love and vibes, 'Dutch' drops samples from Missy Elliot's 'Gossip Folks' with its housey vibes, 'New York City Man' screams Studio 54, glitter, glam and fabulousness, 'Are Your Ready For Me' has a sultry sound to it with a seductive, lustful story intertwined into the vocals... 'Feelings' - expect psychedelic rhythms and syncopated baselines wrapping up the 'Made Me Feel' album...'
