'Juicebox Music's 73rd release welcomes back foglight for his debut 2-track EP featuring "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley". The Lebanese artist made his initial appearance on our imprint through a special remix of ARTN's "Lopos" earlier this year. Better known to his friends and family as Gerome Mouawad, as well as having success under the name 'Gerome' in the Trance community, his new alias 'foglight' aimed to explore the deeper side of progressive while still experimenting with his technical wizardry. Having released on Mango's 'Mango Alley', Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', Jelly For The Babies' 'One of A Kind' & Bondarev's 'WARPP', foglight's discography showcases his focus on quality over quantity. For his latest offering on our imprint, foglight delivers "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley", a pair of club-focused tracks with tech-inspired drums, gritty bassline sequences, subtle melodics, granular fx & a whole lot of finesse.

Label-boss Praveen Achary returns to Juicebox Music for a special appearance after his small break from producing. Striving to create something that sounds different from the norm & different from each production, Praveen's work on Juicebox Music has always had a slight edge, whether it's his remixes of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan" or Eric Lune's "Wooden Bird" or even his "Fiasco" collaboration with Aman Anand. Praveen Achary's re-envisions foglight's "Circuit Valley" to create a collage of moments from hypnotic to groovy, chunky to driving and dark to light. '

Da Luka's roku imprint continues a strong start to the year by welcoming VegaZ SL to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Sri Lanka, Vegaz SL has established himself with a mesmerizing groovy sound that continues to fuel his country's dancefloors. On the strength of early tracks in 2021, the Galle resident would go on to compile an impressive resume across the next three calendar years, showcasing his music via Droid9, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, Sound Avenue, WARPP and his own La Foresta imprint; while some of the world's most highly regarded DJs championed his work along the way. Now, beginning 2024 on a strong note, VegaZ SL debuts on roku with 'Not In Never Falling', alongside remixes from Paul Hamilton and Kyotto. 

The release concludes with Kyotto making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Me And I'. First emerging in 2017, Sri Lankan artist Kyotto was quickly tipped as one of his country's most promising progressive house artists. Releases via JEE Productions, Mango Alley, Sound Avenue and his own CRFT Music imprint have been recent discography highlights, while Hernan Cattaneo continues to be steadfast with support. Continuing to rise out of his country's electronic landscape, Kyotto now debuts on roku with a heady take on 'Me And I'. Focusing on a slightly darker monochrome, the Colombo resident takes aim at the dancefloor for what results in a slow-burning seven-minute journey. Gyrating rhythms and deep chugging basslines set the course for snatches of flickering percussion and shapeshifting effects. Looking to bring a surreal yet dramatic response, the main break shifts the narrative through anticipatory arps and a growling underbelly, before a contemporary build cues a stripped back drop and prophetic finale, one which an astute dancefloor will certainly appreciate.
