EP is now being released with REMIXED TWO. 'Homework Done' was created together with Dayne S as an homage to Daft Punk and their debut album 'Homework' from 1997. The fact that the brilliant French would actually be “Done” would still have occurred during the creation of the track in 2017 nobody thought. All the better that the musical homage appears now, shortly after the end.For the remix, Ante hired none other than Katermukke artist Roderic, whom he met a few years ago in Katerblau. Accompanied by several schnapps, the Dortmund and the Mexican discovered a mutual love for croissants - since then they have been sending each other photos of the buttery baked goods from Around The World. We celebrate the melodically driving track and thank the French guys for a quarter of a century full of musique fantastique.

The next day we spent some quality time in the city, and let us tell you - this guy is not only a superb producer and DJ, Tim is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet! Needless to say we had an absolute blast.
It's super sweet when you actually have an "analog" connection with the artists you work with, which is why we're very excited to release his works Trampoline Afterhour and Rubber Legs.
For the remixes we have one of our all-time favorite producers, the Ber lin based DJ and producer Powel. With his signature rhythms, percussion work and captivating atmosphere, he has created not one but two versions of Trampolin Afterhour, making this release a really special and timeless EP.

And as today we celebrate the Armenian Christmas, Acid Pauli   and I have a gift for you! 

Here is a track we made for our Cercle live in Armenia at Garni Temple. It was not supposed to be released but many of you asked for it so we realized that music has to be shared. Specifically when there is a purpose. 

As a matter of fact, all proceeds will go to charity ArmeniaFund to help my country which is facing an unprecedented crisis. 
I feel lucky (and sometimes guilty) being born in France while all my brothers and sisters have to undergo the Armenian chaotic system. 
We are the same people, the same blood, but we don’t have the same chances. And when we created our home Rambalkoshe we knew that Music and Art would be the answer. As soon as Martin - Acid Pauli stepped in our little house, he immediately understood. There I met a brother for life. Always here to support. Always here to spread love. So honest. So generous. Simple words or even silences say a lot. We shared so much. This mutual love and respect became a trigger for so many incredible projects coming this year… Looking forward to present them!

'For the 23rd EP on Heimlich Musik, Franz Matthews collaborates with label veteran Johannes Klingebiel and Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Semodi, delivering two original mixes accompanied with remixes by Random Atlas and Balam. "Signs" is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between Franz Matthews and Johannes Klingebiel which started after a few drinks and builds on instrumental recordings. A powerful bassline and melancholic pads are used to reflect the message of the vocals to welcome the unexpected signs of life in a positive way. Evolving from a long-lasting friendship with Semodi, "Law of Attraction" is an enchanting arrangement carried by a subtle guitar and vocals about rewiring your own behavioral patterns for a more fulfilling existence. Chilean duo Random Atlas pick up the bassline and main theme of "Signs" in their remix while their powerful signature disco sound is magnified by the use of additional drum elements, analog synth lines, and electric guitars. Balam recreates "Law of Attraction" as an ecstatic club track based on hypnotic drums while keeping the spirit of the original, rounding up the EP as a whole.'

Raised in the Netherlands and inspired by his Balkan heritage, Satori returns to Crosstown Rebels this April with The Gin Song. Featuring acclaimed group My Baby, it’s the third and final single ahead of his upcoming album.

Famed for his dreamy, ethereal production and Eastern European influences The Gin Song opens with a raw drum kick, delightfully accompanied by a high pitched guitar riff, which perfectly echoes a band from the 70s or 80s. Produced at the Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza, soft, delicate, folk-like vocals sweep in and whisk your mind away to the sun drenched shores of the Balearic Isle. A continuous flow of energy led me to compose my first album Idyll Of a Frame. I put together stories and messages that maybe never as now, just being released, I wondered if they were part of me or something higher. I say this because the objective universe of art does not belong only to musicians, poets, and painters. The sincere approach to our fears, to what makes us feel blocked, is a great act of love, creativity, and inspiration. All of us can reach it. It’s true, doubt remains, emptiness and mystery remain. But isn’t that wonderful after all? That door that you can see from the album cover, leads to darkness or a light that can only be reached in the time that remains. Because, as a great maestro once said, "We are passing through." The means to honor the creative and positive flows that I have the opportunity to capture during the day is music. In the case of Idyll Of a Frame, I pay tribute to life through an "idyll of a frame" or more in detail through a moment of inner dialogue, a dream, a way of seeing one’s soul from a different perspective, as if we were looking it through a magnifying glass. Nice feeling, even if only for a second. Just like the photograph and the cover photo of Idyll Of a Frame is a photograph of my grandfather, made in exploration, who knows where in the world. There are also within the album, different shades of colors belonging to my roots. Naples is the city where I live, work and breathe every day. It is also the city where I grew up, where I fell and got up.
Some tracks, referring to the tracks "Monteoliveto," "Lyra" and "Polvere Di Napoli," come from a walk made by my recording studio, located in Monteoliveto 75, towards the city. On a journey without the time and a precise destination, I meet a Naples seen perhaps for the first time or never seen at all. A walk never happened or happened only in my blurred and clouded thoughts. Everything in between is part of new aspirations, books, friendships, and experimentation.
Finally, a special dedication is found in the song that closes the album, Kaito. My piano is a Japanese Tokai and I wanted to dedicate a track to it for all the time I spent with him learning,
more and more, about the language of music.
